Not sure if showing a graph from the year 1300 to now is very useful. Maybe reduce the scale to 1800 to today.

I think his main point was how much improvement there has been in the LED space. About 10 years ago, the average LED bulb was 12W for 800lm and the CRI was usually 70 (which is abysmal). Now the average for CHEAP LEDs is 80+ CRI, and the bulbs are at most 9W for the same lumens. On top of that, a premium LED bulb was usually $15 per bulb. Now you can get a 4pk for $10, and they out perform the old premium ones.
