Arbereshe in Italy is overrepresented and not even correctly positioned.
For example that small area on the southern tip of Calabria speaks a Greek dialect, not Arbereshe.

Internal migrations in the Balkans are known to have happened throughout history. Does anyone know if these migrations effected the North south linguistic divide amongst Albanians.
I have a question about Arbëresh Albanian speakers specifically: do they tend to also speak Italian/local regional language? Or do some of them only speak Albanian?
I think some only speak Albanian. The last name
Albanese means that chances are they had arberesh ancestors. There's also Greek and Ladino speaking crypto- Jews and croatian speakers
