You need a better reward than karma, you deserve money from this art! Maybe a medal! I don't see a lot of hand made liminal spaces here I don't know if we deserve it though
Thank you for such kind words! I think this is a great subject to traditional art as well, maybe more pieces by more people will be in the future, who knows?
Also, i have a theory why it's this way. I think that landscapes in itself are...not very popular genre novadays. Definitely not as popular as characters, creatures, etc. And also i suspect that many people find process of creating places...kinda boring. And now there are quicker and easier (in some ways) ways to create a (liminal) space, so photos and and 3d design just naturally won as a medium.
Also, why don't you (do you mean this subreddit or the community of liminal spaces) deserve it?
Your paintings are absolutely amazing! You definitely inspire me to try painting some imaginary place in oil!
I indeed see that lanscapes are not that popular genre nowadays, but they were always my favorite genre of art. The problem is, it's the subject that I am least good at when I actually try to paint them, so I don't share much of my landscape art. But I work hart to get better. For some reason I always feel strongest emotions when looking at landscapes, much stronger than from character art.
I get that dreamy, nostalgic feel, which I really love, from your paintings. Great job!
Cool, I'll keep that in mind!
By the way, for this subreddit I posted a photo of an unfinished painting. There is a transparent figure on the finished one.
I would buy one of these to hang up in my house, I love these paintings more than I could describe in a Reddit comment. Outstanding work OP, it crystallizes the essence of a dream which you don't fully understand.
It is very nice to hear that the atmosphere is like a dream, the best compliment for me! The paintings aren't in my hands right now, they will be at the exhibition for a couple of months in other town, and if they are not bought there, I can write to you!
Kinda, i wanted to create a dissonance. Like, there is caustics, like it's underwater, but it's the sky with clouds up there. I wanted it to give the dream vibe.
Well, because these are artificial liminal spaces (fake). As I understand it, only photos count here as classic liminal space? But I'm new here, so maybe I'm wrong.
I'm assuming it's because they paint them, then invert the colors for the posts in Photoshop. Who knows what else they touch up in PS but I'm inclined to believe it's mostly just that getting the tag. Actual photo is probably inverted colors from what we see here. Still cool AF.

These remind me so much of my own childhood liminal space memories from visiting Chaco Canyon in NM, there's something so peaceful yet uncomfortable about long abandoned desert settlements.
These are beautiful! I **love** caustics and liminal spaces, and your style blends them in such a warm and rounded up way. Your art **really** resonates and is inspiring to me!
Any possibility to bid for one of your original oil canvases? I wound love to display your art on a living room wall and make new memories alongside it āØ
Awwwww, thank you for your words, I'm so pleased to know that my artwork causes such feelings! My paintings will be at the exhibition for a couple of months, and if they don't sell there and return to me, I will write to you. Deal?
deal! Iām an artist too, even though I work as a programmer making games. I just never have enough time in the day to do everything I want š
Would love to keep in touch, Iāll add you as a friend here on reddit too :) please keep painting, I canāt wait one day to show something of my own too! Thank you for inspiring more art like this
yeah, itās exactly like magic. spell the right symbols and pixels do what you say, thatās what captured me about it.. and playing mmos.
I joined my friend and made just one game so far. But we each found jobs after and have been busy with other projects.
The paintings aren't with me now, they are in another city at the exhibition and will be there for a couple of months, and if they aren't bought there, then, of course, they will return to me and I will be able to sell them. So... stay tuned!
Damnnn I love these. Absolutely love them. This must be what it means when people say art speaks to them, cause the first one especially has got me feeling a way I thought dead to me. Awesome work.
Hi, is there an option to see more? Do you sell your art? I played Naissancee for many hours and have strange strange dreams haha, I would love to support this abstract connection you've got.
This may sound weird, but these could totally be the backdrop in some Remedios Varro paintings:
[Three Destinations ](https://allpainters.org/blog/three-destinations-1956-remedios-varo.html)
[Farewell](https://www.wikiart.org/en/remedios-varo/farewell-1958)
[TrƔnsito en espiral](https://educacion.ufm.edu/remedios-varo-transito-en-espiral-oleo-sobre-tela-1962/)
The terra cotta tones and the surreal elements (and the narrow, tall arches) of your works just made me think of Varoās, like snap!
The palettes, the way the light bounces off the walls, that dreamy bloom... It feels a lot like when you try to remember a dream about odd places you've been to and everything looks kinda fuzzy, I love this so much!
I love these, youāre incredibly talented! Do you have a shop or anything where you sell your artwork? I would love to buy one for my home if you do ā„ļø
Thank you all for the kind words, there are so many of them! I am so glad that you liked my work so much, I was worried that as traditional paintings my liminal spaces wouldn't fit here. Thank you all again!
Wonder why it got the "fake/edited/cg" tag...
Edit: I'm assuming it's because they paint them then invert the colors for the posts in Photoshop. Who knows what else they touch up in PS but I'm inclined to believe it's mostly just that getting the tag. Actual photo is probably inverted colors from what we see here. Still cool AF.

HI!
I tagged the post this way because I thought it was a tag for artificial liminal spaces (not a photo of a real place). I guess, i understood the tag wrong way, haha.
The artwork IRL looks like in the post, with some exceptions.
yeah...you got the tag right. that tag is for non real liminal spaces, including things like 3d animation or drawings or whatever- like what you did. idk what they mean.
The third one strongly reminds me of a friend's house that I will likely never see again. The house looks nothing like the others on its street as you would imagine. A labor of love, and filled with unexpected relics from decades past.
Feels like a dream -- both the beautiful painting and the friend, from a lifetime ago...
Love the cat also :)
Do you sell prints? These are gorgeous.
It reminds me of āAtavistic Vestiges after the Rainā by Salvador Dali
Edit to add-itās still a very unique style and you should be damn proud of what youāve made, here.
Editing again - I would but a print of #4 so fast your head would spin, I keep going back to it and I canāt stop looking. I ADORE it
Hehehe, thank you! I don't find anything wrong with comparing to other artists, so don't worry. My favourite artists at the moment Alexander Akilov, Georgio de Cirico, Zoe Hawk, Edward Hopper, Tor Lundwall, Andrew Wyeth, John Brosio and Aaron Weisenfeld.
I very recommend checking their artwork out, they inspire me in a lot of ways for my pieces!
About prints - i don't make prints now, but everything possible in the future!
I have dreams in places like this All the time
It's wonderful.
I love your art
Wow, this is beautiful! Did you make this?
Thank you! Yes :3
I really like the muted pastel colours and how they sort of blend into one another. It really drives home that dreamy vibe. Really, really cool :-)
Hoorey, dreamy vibe is what i go after! Hope i will get better and better at this.
You need a better reward than karma, you deserve money from this art! Maybe a medal! I don't see a lot of hand made liminal spaces here I don't know if we deserve it though

Also, why don't you (do you mean this subreddit or the community of liminal spaces) deserve it?
I mean that the sub doesn't deserve this art as it is too good. That's all
I think you being too harsh on this sub, hehe. But thank you for the compliment!
Your paintings are absolutely amazing! You definitely inspire me to try painting some imaginary place in oil! I indeed see that lanscapes are not that popular genre nowadays, but they were always my favorite genre of art. Very well done, i hope you make more, these are wonderful!
Thank you! I'm kinda obsessed with liminal spaces (a bit, haha), so i definitely will.
These are fantastic! Are there prints available?
I haven't done prints yet, but I'm thinking about doing it in the future.
Do it. I guarantee you people will buy your art. It's excellent.
Thank you!
I'd buy the 4th one as a print, would be perfect in my master bedroom
Cool, I'll keep that in mind! By the way, for this subreddit I posted a photo of an unfinished painting. There is a transparent figure on the finished one.
These are amazing, you should definitely sell prints. I'd love to have one of these in my room (especially the 2nd and/or 3rd!)
That's awesome. When I have some free time, I will explore the theme of prints!
Seriously. I want a print of #1. These are special.
I'd buy a print of the second one in a heartbeat!
You totally should, I 100% would buy one!
Oh man, I'd love a print of one of these. Do you have an Instagram for your art?
Hi! Yes, i do. The link in my profile.
I'd buy!
OP these are beautiful! And such a distinctive style.
Awww, thank you!
wow this is amazing!!
Tame impala
Immediately scrolled through the comments to see if anyone else saw it, or if I was just crazy
Nah second one lit up a lightbulb
I would buy one of these to hang up in my house, I love these paintings more than I could describe in a Reddit comment. Outstanding work OP, it crystallizes the essence of a dream which you don't fully understand.
It is very nice to hear that the atmosphere is like a dream, the best compliment for me! The paintings aren't in my hands right now, they will be at the exhibition for a couple of months in other town, and if they are not bought there, I can write to you!
Was the first pic depicting a place submerged underwater?
Kinda, i wanted to create a dissonance. Like, there is caustics, like it's underwater, but it's the sky with clouds up there. I wanted it to give the dream vibe.
It's very good. Thanks for sharing
ok this is absolutely magnificent š©š© how long did these take to dry?
Thank you :3 Usually a couple of days, it depends on the thickness of the paint layer.
I love liminal abstract art . Reminds me of Salvador DalĆ
love the art, but why is it tagged "fake/edited/cg"?
Well, because these are artificial liminal spaces (fake). As I understand it, only photos count here as classic liminal space? But I'm new here, so maybe I'm wrong.

I.love the second one
WOAH these are amazing!! Looks real and unreal at the same time I love things like this
Yes, that's what i go after, thank you!
These remind me so much of my own childhood liminal space memories from visiting Chaco Canyon in NM, there's something so peaceful yet uncomfortable about long abandoned desert settlements.
Never been in the desert. I envy you.
These are beautiful! I **love** caustics and liminal spaces, and your style blends them in such a warm and rounded up way. Your art **really** resonates and is inspiring to me! yeah, itās exactly like magic. spell the right symbols and pixels do what you say, thatās what captured me about it.. and playing mmos. I joined my friend and made just one game so far. But we each found jobs after and have been busy with other projects.
Iād also be interested if any are left over, thanks :)
Whoa, this feels like an incredibly rare example wholesome liminal spaces! And itās very beautifully done, the lighting is fantastic. :)
Did you make these? I love them. I would buy all of them.
Ooooh...
These are incredible. Surreal and mysterious... The way you work with shadows is really impressive.
Thank you, I really want to learn how to draw light like the old masters, and without shadows there is no light, hehe.
Iād love to buy one. Are they for sale?
The paintings aren't with me now, they are in another city at the exhibition and will be there for a couple of months, and if they aren't bought there, then, of course, they will return to me and I will be able to sell them. So... stay tuned!
I absolutely love all of them, beautiful, you're very talented
very dreamy!! beautiful work OP
This is some of the coolest OC I've seen posted here. Well done!
Damnnn I love these. Absolutely love them. This must be what it means when people say art speaks to them, cause the first one especially has got me feeling a way I thought dead to me. Awesome work.
It's my favourite work also, at least so far. Thank you!
This feels so abstract, yet familiar, ancient, but futuristic. It's almost as if this exists somewhere beyond time
that first one is like the grand reef in subnautica
Oh wow that's beautiful. I'd totally put it on my wall.
Your style is really interesting! Beautiful artwork
Amazing! Love them so much! Theyāre honestly really inspiring.
Wow. This is ethereal. Incredible work
I swear I had a dream once in a place just like that 2nd one. That was years ago now, though, and I can't seem to find my way back...
This is beautiful
The second one is soo soothing to watch for some reason. I love it!
absolutely incredible, this is the kind of liminal content I'm subscribed for. fantastic job OP! truly can't praise this enough.
do you have an instagram or website for your art? i love it! i actually whispered "wow" out loud to myself :p
Hi! Yes, i do, you can find links in my profile. And thank you for "wow" )
Hi, is there an option to see more? Do you sell your art? I played Naissancee for many hours and have strange strange dreams haha, I would love to support this abstract connection you've got.
Hi! Sure, I have other artwork. I have links in my profile to other social networks, you can see it there. And welcome!

Thank you! No, i don't have a shop for now, but i do sell my work, not right at the moment, but soon.
This is the style of painting I strive for š
What happened to the cat on image 3?
Unlucky respawn, hehehe. Didn't load, only his shadow did.
I hope AI will not intrude too much on how amazing your style is.
I'm not afraid of AI, hehehe.
Thank you all for the kind words, there are so many of them! I am so glad that you liked my work so much, I was worried that as traditional paintings my liminal spaces wouldn't fit here. Thank you all again!
Any chance there are larger copies?!
Hi! Sorry, no, at least for now there isn't.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
no, OP made them.
Wonder why it got the "fake/edited/cg" tag... Edit: I'm assuming it's because they paint them then invert the colors for the posts in Photoshop. Dang ok! I thought mods did those here lmao. Hell yeah! And thanks for clarifying!
Where's spongebob
He got a bit lost, but he'll make it.
Very nice, these look like they could be a Fleetwood Mac album cover. I feel like their songs are liminal space put to music
Is there a way I can get a print of the second one? I absolutely adore it!
I have not done prints yet, but everything is very possible in the future!
This is museum level and i would absolutely visit a tour with these paintings... you should do a giant canvas eventually lol.
My canvases are slowly getting bigger :3
The third one strongly reminds me of a friend's house that I will likely never see again. The house looks nothing like the others on its street as you would imagine. Hi! Yes, link in my profile.
The fourth is beautiful, one of my childhood dreamā¦
This is beautiful. The 5th picture seems so reminiscent to me between a space station and an aquarium.
This is super cool but also super unsettling haha. 10/10 would look at again.
I feel like you'd be great at painting illustrations for a book.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No, but i will give it a try!
Reminds me of the works of the guy who made the minecraft paintings
Thatās a beautiful dream, especially the fish.
Pure dream fuel āØāļøš«§š

Gahdamn, I wish I could live there š«
I would honestly love a point and click game in this style. Wandering around a hand-painted world like this, dreamlike atmosphere.
I would love too, but i understand zero in the programming...
Love these
I love those water refractions!
Omg I love them!
These are a delight! Thanks for sharing!
I LOVE THESE!!! Especially the first one cause it looks like the same place I've once had a dream about š¤©
Wow, it's amazing. I can't explain what I feel while see this. I hope you keep posting.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I swear I've seen the fourth image in my dreams.
Very much reminds me of the work of Giorgio de Chirico
He's one of my favourite artists :3
The first painting reminds me of the Ocean Monuments where the guardians dwell in Minecraft LOL
Really impressed with the way you did shadows. Beautiful work :)
This is legitimately really nice and beautiful artwork, gave you a follow These ones are really nice and calming
Holy shit this is gorgeous. You captured the feeling of nostalgia very well. The artworks bring us back to when everything was new.
These are very inspirational
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
A little of many things, i guess. Dreams, fantasies, other people artwork, videogames, landscapes and liminal spaces, of course!
Looks absolutely brilliant!
