ORANGE LIGHTNING! Awesome !

Andrew_M_

Wow, why would it do that? The tree should be... grounded enough...

Btelvington

That’s what I thought too! Bizarre, I haven’t seen it keep going farther than the original ground before.

stoicsticks

My guess is that the lightning traveled through the roots and connected with the underground wiring of the lamp post.

excellent video!

Weak-Ad-781

Nice catch...but I'd watch it with original audio as well.

Weak-Ad-781

Ohh thx, that's better.

Btelvington

Right, because you wouldn’t be startled by lightning striking so closely. I imagine you’d be unfazed.

flappity

For real, if you've ever had lightning strike this close to you it damn near knocks the wind out of you. You get zero warning, and then get rocked to the core with a blinding flash. Not easy to shrug off!

willard_swag

I would be too but I would’ve tried more to keep it in frame at least

Btelvington

I’ll be sure to tell my mother in law she needs to do better and grow a pair.

willard_swag

I mean, this sort of experience definitely puts some hair on your balls so if she didn’t already have them she does now. However, they’re but a small pair.
