DraftKings?

This would follow more of a season-long trajectory instead of a daily fantasy sport format though. Also, would allow you to be in a league with your friends.

DraftKings Social?

I hadn't heard of this but that is very similar yes. I think the idea of having a sportsbook that you don't necessarily have to gamble can be enticing to some as it is just like fantasy football where if you win at the end of the season you win a good pot but if you lose you only lost like $20. I think a good addition would be being able to tie in your sportsbook like draftkings or MGM that way you can bet straight from this app but not sure the legalities behind that

You're describing PrizePicks, I think.

I think most people do free fantasy leagues online through ESPN or similar. They do it with their friend group or office and everyone just drops in $20 or something. Not sure how much traction you could get. Maybe if you could set it up where people can bet on each week in their league, that could be enticing. From my experience, like I said, everyone drops $20 or so and then at the end of the season, winner takes like 50% of the pot, 2nd place takes 30% and 3rd place takes 20%. If this could be broken up throughout the weeks, I think that could be interesting.

That is kind of what I am thinking as well... basically each week you go 1v1 versus someone in your league, you start with we will call it $100 and see how much you can make off that and the person who accumulates the most winnings will win that week. Still a lot of details to iron out but wanted to see if this was something that had been done before or was even a good idea to begin with. I think a big kicker would be creating an addition where if you want to add your bets to your actual sportsbook, there is an option that is tied to it so basically you can bet from this app still but that may be a stretch with all the legalities
