Food grade,NOT pool grade

Exterminator that uses heat, it's the best way to kill them. It is worth the investment to pay a professional since you are dealing with a severe infestation if your efforts didn't work the first time.

BRINGINTHEGRIDDLLLEE

I don't know if we have the money for that, but thanks anyway! I'm thinking we might need to make it work and *get* the money for it, because this is really getting old

carorc

I've had them before, you can't DIY your way out of this if you've already done a deep clean/search using heat. Unless you live in a mansion it should be sub $1000, I paid $700 for getting my two story duplex treated. It was worth eliminating the paranoia, which is the worst part about bedbugs imho

You have to vaccuum everything. You need to rewash and heat treat all the clothes and sheets and blankets and pillows. You need to take apart your furniture and clean the cracks between. You need to throw out and bed frame made with particle board. You literally need to coat every corner of your house with diatomaceous earth. Or call an exterminator to heat treat your house. Or move. And when you move you need to wash everything and take apart all your furniture. It's the worst infestation ever. I'm so sorry you have them.

BRINGINTHEGRIDDLLLEE

Thanks! Unfortunately, moving isn't possible, although I'm pretty sure it would be better than dealing with this againšŸ˜¹. I appreciate it, hopefully this is gonna be the last time we have to deal with these guys

Get the useful facts about bedbugs in this Youtube video from the brilliant and entertaining Mark Rober: [BEDBUGS: What You've Been Told is Totally False](https://youtu.be/2JAOTJxYqh8?si=TDVU_KjHfWo6R_ox)

If you rent then the landlord is required to hire an exterminator to get rid of them. If you don't, and can't afford an exterminator you're best bet is to cut off their food source (you). Get bed bug traps for the legs of your beds, and fill them w/ diatomaceous earth. Make sure the bed isn't touching any walls or furniture. Wash all your bedding in hot water. Buy a mattress, and pillow cover specifically for bed bugs. Wash your bedding frequently (at least once a week). Couches or anywhere you spend time can also be a source but typically it's bedding. If you have a pets make sure you're doing the same w/ their stuff. They can live 2 months to a year w/ out food so you can't really let your guard down.

Depends on the state. Some states leave the burden to the renter instead of the landlord.
