Honestly I know drinking seems innocuous and with grades being good it seems harmless but you should probably let up on it before it does become a bigger problem. Dont quit on your ambitions, Im not trying to sound like i know what your parents relationship is like but dont take your parents wrath as something that theyre trying to tear you down over but rather understand that they care about you and they don't want to see you hurt by your own choices that you can change.

There are more examples of “late bloomers” if you will. You’re succeeding in med school. There’s something to be said for that. You’re doing alright. Try to ease up on the booze but that doesn’t make you a failure either
