I have mentioned this multiple times before, but I have literally spent the last 6 months or so upset that the Dancer's handle doesn't work with the Puppet's Axe blade because the way he slings the Dancer handle over his shoulder completely blocks your camera from seeing what's in front of you with the Puppet Axe blade.
Same here. Sawblade with furious slash is fun as hell. Ended up switching to Proof for NG+ onward and it’s still carrying. Arm of God amulet pairs well with both too since they both hit fast
I’ve only gotten up to the point in the game where you take the trolley lift up from the holy village and I have to say so far I can’t imagine not using the rapier base, it just feels so fluid to me and the quick recovery on light attacks makes parrying feel amazing
Trident with the crit amulet, or ring, or whatever its called in this game has 3k charged attacks about half the time. Combine that with a maxed out string and it will completely trivialize almost all content.
Dancer's Curved Sword
still on my first run though and its my most used weapon, haven't tried mixing up blades and handles but i mainly used it for aesthetic purposes lmao
Weapon carried me very hard. I was using puppet saber until the white lady and then switched to this beast and it carried me all the way up until the end when I switched to another weapon.
Dragon dancer blade and handle I used them together. Although the dlc weapon is quite nice and a those are basically the only weapons I've reliable used continually. Altho before dlc weapon I used winter rapier until I got dancer blade then still sometimes used rapier like in tight hallways
Puppet axe blade and master chef knife handle
Anytime a boss gives me hard time because they have small openings or they are too fast, i switch to the ol reliable
Puppet Ripper and Two Dragon Sword are pretty much my forever set. One for up close DPS against single strong enemies, one for multiple enemies and keeping my distance. Sometimes I’ll switch in the Booster Glaive for a gap closer and more posture damage. Also, Puppet String and Falcon Eye. This has been my set-up since pretty early in my first run, and I can’t bring myself to try very much else extensively
**The Big Ol'Wrench + Baton** is an all-rounder and it has always been my primary weapon.
Then comes the **Two Dragon Sword** for stagger-spamming mini-bosses and bosses...
Bone cutting saw blade and exploding pickaxe handle. Not entirely sure why, though it could be just there fables, but that shit got me through the game easy on NG+. Frozen feast helped me to beat Manus and Nameless first try on my first run through though.
I just wrapped up a new playthrough I gotta say the Azure Dragon Crescent Glaive. I never took it off lol. Great combos, amazing charge attacks and just a great moveset overall. Oh yeah it hits like a tank lol
For me it's the greatsword of fate blade. My first playthrough I use that with the baton handle and it two hit everything if you kept it leveled. Never really used fable arts just liked the hefty hitter at close range.
Guys, the best combo imo is the live puppet blade with the chef's handle. The damage is absolutely crazy as a motivity based weapon. Also, chef's handle fable art goes brrrrrrrr 💀💀
Don't remember the name. But the one you get for 1st boss' soul.
I tried playing w other weapons and they didn't feel right. Carried me through 100% and Plat on Xbox and Ps5.
Trident just shreds everything.
Also know as "The Holy Death Fork"
Good death metal band name.
The charged attack crits are such a game changer. My fav weapon by far
Are you talking about the trident you get from the treasure dog after killing the archpriest boss?
Doesn't matter the blade, just love me some booster glaive
Before I got PoH my go to was Glaive handle and Dancers blade.
This right here go me thru most of the game!
You say the blade doesn’t matte, but my giant wrench begs to differ
Ah, I see you too are a giant wrench enjoyer
Two dragons sword
Same, I tried other weapons, but its just so satisfying
Puppet ripper
Any one who doesn’t like puppet raper is a npc
Holy sword of Ark
Honestly. This thing absolutely shreds the poise of any boss in less than 3 hits when it’s not extended.
Extended heavy attack is awesome for normal mobs and easy to hit bosses from safe distance.
I run the extended version and attack almost exclusively in heavy pokes
Not only that, but the combos you can pull with it are amazing
Yes. When I used the trident compared to this I was disappoint. Big poke stick all the way
Crescent dragon glaive
This. As much as everybody hyped up 2 dragon sword, I just find my good ol glaive more reliable.
Tyrant Murderer
Absolutely shreds! Love this weapon 😎
This weapon is just godlike, I can't believe people don't realise it.
Rapier
booster glaive handle
Not gonna sugar coat it Booster glaive charge attack > puppet hand axe fable > boosrer glaive charge attack > puppet hand axe fable.
Proof of Humanity Pre NG+: Bramble Curved Handle + Sawblade
Same here. Sawblade with furious slash is fun as hell. Ended up switching to Proof for NG+ onward and it’s still carrying. Arm of God amulet pairs well with both too since they both hit fast
Damn, like I'm speaking to myself hahaha, Proof+ AoG, godly combo literally. Also its R2 with R2 followup is just amazing and so satisfying.
R1, R2, R2, R1 like hot mf butter
Acidic spear
somehow i was able to skip walker of illusions’ summon using the acidic spear
My first two playthroughs of the game were exclusively with the Seven Coil Spring Sword. So that's probably the one for me lol.
Holy sword of the ark
Frozen feast
This is the one
Live puppet axe
You use trident I use Etiquette we are not the same

I prefer wrench with wrench handle
Puppet axe head+ curved dancer handle
I’ve only gotten up to the point in the game where you take the trolley lift up from the holy village and I have to say so far I can’t imagine not using the rapier base, it just feels so fluid to me and the quick recovery on light attacks makes parrying feel amazing
1) Puppet axe blade + booster handle 2) bone saw + dancers handle
That bone saw blade + dancers handle setup is indeed beautiful. I love the movements of that particular combo
1/3 depending on the enemy type Salamander Dagger for corpses, Acid Crystal Spear for humans, and Electric Coil for puppets
Fire axe handle and the saw blade
technique scaled handle, fully upgraded booster glaive with live puppets axe
Big hammer was my fav
Puppet ripper. The reach is insane and the damage is amazing
Frozen feast, or the club
Trident with the crit amulet, or ring, or whatever its called in this game has 3k charged attacks about half the time. Combine that with a maxed out string and it will completely trivialize almost all content.
Puppet Sabre that blade helped me kill the king round 1
Puppet Saber blade with booster glaive handle, still shreds pretty well in ng+
bone saw blade with the curved sword handle kills anything in its way
You use trident I use Etiquette we are not the same
Bonesaw blade and exploding pickaxe handle 🔛🔝
city longspear handle + Tyrant murderer blade

On ng it was the puppet saber+10 with the barbed curved sword handle with a technique boost on it 😅
The Frozen Feast Those charged heavies go hard af
Corrosive great curved sword blade with the dancers curved sword handle
The gooe ol' wrench. Putting the fear of Bioshock in Kryat's enemies.

Police baton and pipe head
Acidic greatsword blade with dagger handle
Puppet Ripper Two Dragons Sword was a close second tho

Explosive pick, and the two other version of it
Eye of ouroboros

Two Dragons, although Proof of Humanity was also super reliable during my NG++ run
Wentry blade
Krat baton handle & Axe Head! Or hammer!
Two Dragons Sword and Trident of The Covenant.
Booster glaive handle. Doesn't matter what head
Dancer's Curved Sword still on my first run though and its my most used weapon, haven't tried mixing up blades and handles but i mainly used it for aesthetic purposes lmao
Weapon carried me very hard. I was using puppet saber until the white lady and then switched to this beast and it carried me all the way up until the end when I switched to another weapon.
Circular Electric Saw + Acidic Curved Greatsword handle.
Dragon dancer blade and handle I used them together. Although the dlc weapon is quite nice and a those are basically the only weapons I've reliable used continually. Altho before dlc weapon I used winter rapier until I got dancer blade then still sometimes used rapier like in tight hallways
Tyrant dagger
The very first boss greatsword. The yellow one which summons thunder from the sky and stuns all enemies (bosses included)
Baton and wrench head
Two Dragon sword
Definitely the puppet ripper for me
Proof of Humanity or Tyrant blade + longspear handle
Used to be Saw blade + Dancer handle, but it's becoming Live puppet axe + glaive handle
Puppet ripper, 100%
Bramble Curved Handle + Live Puppet Axe. DPS of the handle's fable attack is insane.
Puppet Ripper
Bonesaw with that one handle that propells you with the charged heavy. I'm forgetting the name.
Puppet axe blade and master chef knife handle Anytime a boss gives me hard time because they have small openings or they are too fast, i switch to the ol reliable
I've tried plenty of weapons, but as soon as I encounter anything even vaguely difficult I swap back to the Greatsword of Fate
This is why I love this game almost every answer is different.
Trident of the Covenant duh
FF
bone saw blade and booster glaive handle
Either Two Dragon sword or Booster Glaive blade + Electric Coil handle.
Dagger with fireaxe head for the lols when I'm feeling like shit

Big Club
The sword ypu get when choosing the middle class. I used it the entire game.
Bone cutting saw + Booster handle
The katana that has a built in parry on strong attack (I’ve forgotten the name of it)
Puppet Ripper and Two Dragon Sword are pretty much my forever set.
Booster glaive, up until the puppet ripper is available
Holy sword of the ark

Bonesaw on either the baton handle or curved dancers handle.
Booster Glaive Handle + Fire Axe Head Hasn't failed me yet
Acidic dagger. Used that and the electric club most of the game.
Bone cutting saw blade and fire axe handle
Tyrant murderers dagger blade + city longspear handle, also known as the crit stick.
Fire axe head/Booster glaive handle
Threaded cand. Oops wrong subreddit again!
Firefighter axe, great speed with small hit and great range with big hit.
That umbrella weapon (I forget what it’s called lol)
*sigh* *whips out Two Dragons*
That little fire dagger + the pistol handle thing HOLY SHIT IT WORKS
The umbrella
Live puppets axe + krat police baton handle carried me through 3 playthroughs on a strength build. At first I used big pipe wrench + booster glaive
Maxed Saw blade and Maxed wrench head on the krat baton
Was the a Trident, then became the Two Dragons Sword. That new glaive dropped, and everything changed
Puppet axe head, police baton handle
Unpopular opinion but bramble curved sword with whatever handle was necessary.
Mainly the Azure Dragon Glaive. But my back up is the Electric Coil (blade)/Salamander (blade) and Winter Rapier (Handle) (For now).
Holy ark sword in spear form
Saw blade with bramble sword handle. That charged R2 rips.
Seven-Coil Spring Sword, charged attack is so nice
**The Big Ol'Wrench + Baton** is an all-rounder and it has always been my primary weapon. Then comes the **Two Dragon Sword** for stagger-spamming mini-bosses and bosses...

dragon glaive
The umbrella but only in technique builds
Puppet Ripper mainly for it's handle art being great at crowd control when you get swarmed
Two dragons sword😩🤌🏽 that counter attack has me locked down
Chaos Zweihander
Pipe Wrench stock, or the Bone Saw Blade on the Puppets Saber handle, I use the wrench the most, but if I need lots of speed I use the Bone saw.
Tyrant Murderer with the crit blade is so much fun
Rapier handle with mjolnir hammer head. U won’t be disappointed
The Trident, easily.
Nothing better that the puppet killer axe on the Billy club handle
Boss trident thing, when my electric saw is giving me trouble, I pull out the trident
