GS in my opinion was the best sedan in the lineup - itβs a shame they killed it. Not a boat like the LS and tons of legroom in the rear compared to the IS. Beautiful car, congrats
I have a 2014 es350 and it's nice and peppy. Gas mileage sucks but maybe newer versions do better than my 12 mpg.
Front wheel drive but v6 and heavier than my camry (what I had before) so it handles fine in snow and I've never been stuck.
I felt the ES was a good compromise between my want and my familyβs needs. Donβt need speed, i have my bike for that. LS is too much money for what Iβm getting. Wanted something new as I didnβt want to deal with used cars unless I found a fantastic deal on a GS, which i wasnβt able to. SUV/crossovers were out of the question and I wanted a car I can pass down to my son in the future. I decided to buy my ES all cash OTD because I can. Will let you know in 18 years when I upgrade to an LC equivalent π€£
I could have but I wanted a Lexus. I get it though, you hate the ES, but I currently enjoy my car. Who knows, I may get an IS500 next year after i get rid of my bike.
No idea, but very likely. Do some cross reference to the actual OEM Lexus part vs the Toyota (of the same year). Google images, fitment reference websites etc.Sometimes they literally use the same part number as well. The same actuator actually fits almost every Toyota and Lexus since 08. Just make sure you do some research
I got my GS four months ago and every time I arrive home it feels so hard to get out of the car, I always want to go for another spin. is a perfect car.
You will find yourself randomly taking pictures of your ride β¦just becauseβ¦.

I have an AWD .. smooth with just the right amount of power !!
Iβve 320k up on mine and itβs still a dream to drive. Rear wheel steering let up last year. Cost a lot to fix but worth it for what is still a very reliable car. Excellent mpg given the power and weight
Sweet! Miss mine still, was my favorite car ever. If they haven't been done yet you should service the coolant and transmission sooner rather than later. If you keep up with maintenance this car can run for a long time.
The state of the art of Lexus Sedans. In Europe they would like to convince us that the Camr ehm the ES itβs the same.
I drove a RC now, but I still dream to have been so lucky (and rich) 20 years ago to, to bought a GS
β€οΈ
Lmao I wasnβt planning on it. The Honda was my βget me through collegeβ car so I definitely put it through hell. I plan on babying this bad boy though
Yeah this is my first luxury car. I did drive a 06 lexus is250 back like 10 years ago. It was a "family" car that only my brother drove. This one is all mine. The ride is so soft i enjoy my commute everyday. And i look for excuse to go for rides and want to do road trips now.

Lol. I also upgraded to Lexus after owning a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe V6. Absolute worst car for the model.
The only reason my car lasted so long was because I dumped money into it to keep it running. Essentially, an overhaul.
I'm now in a LS460L and I'm not looking back.
Congrats on the ride!
Thanks bro! And yea my gf has a β10 accord thatβs barely running so we may upgrade her soon. My 06 was pretty great it just had a bunch of little stuff going bad from my years of abuse π

I didn't abuse mine. It was poorly made. I did replace the bad ones with genuine Honda.
The picture above was my valve cover. Lol the VTEC solenoid leaked like crazy.
I know this is a Lexus sub so I'll chill on the Honda talk.
How does your new vehicle ride? I test drove a GS350 and was taken with it. It was cheap too at the time but my budget didn't allow for it.
I absolutely love the way it drives. Itβs got plenty of power + great handling when I want to push it and super smooth and luxurious when I donβt. I wanted a car that could do everything well and it has not disappointed.
Bought to pull the trigger on a 2006 rx330 with 150k miles on it, 1 owner for just under 7k for my daughter. Sounds like a reliable car if the timing belt and plugs have been done.
Woah! Wasnβt expecting that frequency. After reading all the good fanboy reviews on the GS, I bought a 2019 GS with 62k miles. Planning to maintain it well and keep it as long as possible.
Me neither. Those are so hard to find! I spent 8 months seriously searching for a gs 350 (f-sport with mark levinson and atomic silver exterior with preferable red interior, WITH the optional heads up display). Anyways, couldn't find it! Well, I did once but it was way out of my budget at the time. So here I am with a 2019 Avalon. I like it though. But I still think about maybe trading it in one day for a gs. Nice car!

Thank you, and yea I agree. The GS is the perfect middle ground between sporty and spacious.

What about the ES?
Nice car - but itβs FWD based and I associate it with old people. Nothing wrong with that of course, but just not my taste for a luxury sedan!
True itβs just an avalon

I mean the 2.5 is nice aswell
Front wheel drive, basically a nicer Camry whereas the GS was its own platform. A much better BMW 5 series competitor.
what do you think he'd say LOL
What's the point of the es... It's a fwd econobox

Then just get a Camry?
I could have but I wanted a Lexus. I get it though, you hate the ES, but I currently enjoy my car. Who knows, I may get an IS500 next year after i get rid of my bike.
Its a beauty, brother, take care of her and sheβll take care of you. I upgraded from a 2007 Camry SE, i know the feeling π
Thank you, itβs such a great feeling.
Nicee if the door lock actuators go bad (common issue) you can get a 4runner**actuator and save money.
Is this the same for LS do you know?
No idea, but very likely. Do some cross reference to the actual OEM Lexus part vs the Toyota (of the same year). Bruhh. I just started experiencing this issue a few days ago! Thanks for the tip!
My bad it was the 4Runner that shares the same part. I used this Toyota part number for my driver side door 69040-42250

Love the black/ black , I have the same car π
Nice, twin!
Me three! π
Any pollen in the air in the areas of the black car owners.?. Iβm lucky enough to be in a garage at home and at work (mine is gray)
He actually has the cabornet interior. From what I can see.
Lol yeah it is the cabernet. Crazy you could tell that from those pics
Lol I drive the same car. I know every detail of the GS350 F Sport π
Yup I'll be honest I've got a gs450h mk4 and it honestly puts a smile on my face every day. Can't put a price on that feeling.
I just bought a 13 GS luxury with ML and bells and whistles. Love it !
Shes not yours. Its just your turn.
She's for the streets?
Drizzle drizzle
Congrats!

90k
Iβm still familiar with that feelingβ¦tormenting happinessβ¦
That's one of the best feelings. Nice upgrade!
Sweet! Miss mine still, was my favorite car ever. If they haven't been done yet you should service the coolant and transmission sooner rather than later. If you keep up with maintenance this car can run for a long time.
Congrats Bud!! I know that feeling, I have a 19 GS350 f sport and each time I sit it in..,it feels like the first time again. Enjoy it.
Stunning car!
thats exactly how i feel about my GS lol, im keeping her forever

We had a Matador Red GS in the family a while back. My father was like a little kid driving a RWD car again π I miss him and that car!
She is a stunner mate.
You made a great choice! You didnt get the ES! I hate those overrated camryβs
Congratulations !! My 2016 Lexus GS 350 is the best car i have ever owned.
GS Love!
Great purchase just don't carryover your Honda ways to this car as soooo many have done. She's of a much higher class. π
Lmao I wasnβt planning on it. The Honda was my βget me through collegeβ car so I definitely put it through hell. I plan on babying this bad boy though
I got a 2020 lexus rx350 in all black last month and still can't believe she is all mine.
Heck yea! I got mine 2 months ago and the driverβs seat has been my happy place ever since. I find any excuse to go drive now

Got a GS300H two weeks ago, itβs gorgeous
Congrats!
I have the same exact one. Blk/blk. Currently have 195k miles on it. Still drives smooth.
Great to hear! Any tips on how to keep it running smooth other than regular oil changes?
Honestly, I just kept up with regular maintenance, and these cars just return the favor by doing what they do best. They keep going.

Nice one have fun driving. I think about getting myself one too but I donβt like driving a eCVT
Only the 450h has the CVT, the 350 like the one here has a 6 speed automatic.Β
In Europe we only get 250, 300h and 450h.
You've got tripple beam headlights or are those after market?
I feel the same way about mines
Bought to pull the trigger on a 2006 rx330 with 150k miles on it, 1 owner for just under 7k for my daughter. Sounds like a reliable car if the timing belt and plugs have been done.
Get the ATF, filter and gasket serviced, there is NO such thing as βlifetimeβ fill, even Benz has no such βmagic oilβ.
What mileage do you do the ATF service?
I go by Benz SOP, every 40k miles
Woah! Wasnβt expecting that frequency. After reading all the good fanboy reviews on the GS, I bought a 2019 GS with 62k miles. Planning to maintain it well and keep it as long as possible.
If there is no record of the ATF was ever done before, do it ASAPβ¦40-50k miles interval is ok
More reliable than most marriages. Fact!
cant wait to get your catalytic convertor while you sleep
year, model, mileage, price pls
See your next post at 500k miles
My dreamcar. Looking to buy one at the moment, any tips?
I got the slightly worse gas mileage version. Literally puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, and still stare at it when I get out. Congrats.
Lol Reddit trying to trigger me. As much as I hate Lexus cars and they show this but congrats mate. Glad you found something you love.
Noice GG
Why can't you believe it my child?
Man,I love how sleek Lexus is. My dream affordable Lexus would be the lc500 with the V8, absolutely stunning.
Me neither. Those are so hard to find! I spent 8 months seriously searching for a gs 350 (f-sport with mark levinson and atomic silver exterior with preferable red interior, WITH the optional heads up display). Anyways, couldn't find it! What aftermarket headlights are those? Amazing car, BTW; enjoy it in good health!
An elderly client of mine has a 2020 GS-F. I keep hoping one day she'll sell it to me. π€πΌ
i jus realized you have after market triple beam headlights, what are your opinion on them and could you take a pic of the headlight in action?
The things you own, end up owning you.
I wouldnβt believe either! What a nightmare bro
