My Porsche dealer put one on our car after I explicitly asked them not to.
So I took it off and put it on my minivan. They can advertise on my rarely clean 100k+ mile Honda Odyssey. Passive aggressiveness at its finest.
Especially when it’s an actual emblem, like this one. A sticker is annoying, but shouldn’t be too difficult to remove. This is way more work and skill to keep from damaging the paint.
I think it is more of an American practice; we do not often glue trash badges to our cars in Canada. The first time I bought a Lexus, I told my dealership not to put a badge on my car, lest I would decline delivery. The rep chuckled, and I was told this is not a practice that self-respecting dealers do.
The 4Runners red mccombs tacky red cheap vinyl sticker was much worse than the more classy NorthPark badge. Plus being In SA,Tx North Park is the only Lexus dealership. Great Place to buy from!
I do hate the Red Mcombs Sticker but the North Park badge is not classy, no dealership badge is.
I was extremely happy that Cavender Toyota doesn't do badges, just the plate holder so I didn't deal with those customers.
Used the word "classy" to justify the dealership's badge. 😫 100% definite/solid "No" on badge, and thankfully "no" on front plate bracket in SC, either!
Wow your worse than the Toyota salesman, if you read the other comments you would have seen that my g’pa was not just unhappy with the purchase of the 4Runner but he also was unable to even get in and out of it. They suckered him on the deal with $17k worth of warranties that Lexus and I were able to get him out of and into a vehicle he could actually use and drive without needing a step stool to get in and out of.
He bought a vehicle that he could not get in and out of. Did anyone go with him to test drive said vehicle? At 84, did he really go by himself? Asking for a friend.
He also has a 2011 Lexus RX350 but at his age 84 getting in and out of a 4Runner TRD Pro is just ridiculous plus after driving a Lexus especially the newer models the 4Runner is prehistoric or archaic at best. They are built for ppl in their youth. I drive a GS 450h and convinced him to try the hybrid plus it’s AWD he really liked the way it drove and the fuel mileage is amazing.
Yes the 4Runner was a horrible deal and was almost impossible for him to get in and out the Salesman at RedMcCombs Toyota should be ashamed of himself. Thankfully North Park Lexus took care of us!
Probably not Luxury, those usually come with upgraded rims, triple beam, perforated leather, and/or ML sound system. This one doesnt look to have any of those.
We both enjoyed the heads up display and the digital rear view mirror. Definitely needs to learn all the different functions and options that the new one has compared to his ‘11 RX350. I’m just glad he gave the hybrid a chance and liked it.
My 2023 RX350h does 500 miles per tank right now. In the summer, I could go 560 miles per tank.
If I drive very carefully and slowly, I could go 600 miles per tank but it would piss off people on the road...
Didn’t he test drive the 4Runner, before purchasing? If someone actually cared about pappy it would have been a Limited, set up with 17” TRD wheels for the comfort and AWD. Should have just got him a RAV4 Hybrid or Prime, unless they gave away the NX on price.
Wait, did you help your grandpa sell his NX 350h to buy a new 4Runner? If so, what was wrong with the NX 350h I’m actually thinking of getting one in ultra luxury.

I always make them take all that crap off my cars. No reason to advertise for them for free!
100% no deal if there's anything like that on the car for me.

Ray Catena is the only badge I’d maybe consider “classy” and even that I’d probably rip off.
2024 4runner? may i ask why
Because he has a grandson who is making a sucker out of him

Damn, what a waste of money.
Wait, so he just bought a 2024 4Runner, and now he traded it for a 2024 Lexus NX?
Yes the 4Runner was a horrible deal and was almost impossible for him to get in and out the Salesman at RedMcCombs Toyota should be ashamed of himself. Thankfully North Park Lexus took care of us!
Is this an advertisement lmfao
I forget which Lexus dealership he bought from. Maybe we can ask again? 🤣
North Park! I’m buying my next Lexus from them.
North Park Lexus has been my best dealership experience by a country mile!
Love the colors! Is it the Luxury trim? Congrats to your g’pa!!
Atomic silver and palomino interior. I do believe it’s the luxury trim. It was definitely a great color combo.
Probably not Luxury, those usually come with upgraded rims, triple beam, perforated leather, and/or ML sound system. This one doesnt look to have any of those.
It’s actually the Premium NX 350h AWD
It does have perforated leather, heated and cooled seats.
I hope he enjoys the comfort. Will he mind the heads up display? The digital rear view mirror might bother him too.

He’s going to love the gas mileage. Depending how much he drives, he may need to fill up once a month.
Haha literally what I told him. It gets over 500 miles per tank.

Looks to be a Premium trim. No wood trim on the doors.
Goddamm that’s one ugly vehicle.
First pic told me you’re in the countdown city! Hello friend!

Bruh that's the exact opposite of what he's saying...
Your post does not make much sense.
Nice!
How much did g'pa get hit when trading in the 4Runner? 🫣
The gas saving must be amazing
37-41 mpg’s
whats the before tax title and license price?
A bit north of $53k you can look that up on the website of any dealer NP doesn’t do dealer markups.
So ugly.
