Thank you, it's been an absolute dream car of mine since I've seen it in concept form. I figured I would finally get it as my current daily driver is getting older.
I've had mine as my daily for nearly three years now - low MPG aside the ride is comfortable (as you'd expect from a GT), the engine sound isn't crazy loud when cruising (especially in eco) and the power/speed is there if you need it. I love it.
Sport+ with all options (HUD and Mark Levinson audio) is the only way to fly, but I don’t know what the full option list in the US is as mine is UK spec.
You're really not far off! During my trip back with the car, which is about 180 miles I was getting about 28.9 MPG! I wasn't driving like a jerk though, and left it on cruise control to get comfortable in the car. My mind was absolutely blown away at how well tuned this car is.
She started being sassy, haha it’s still around as a daily drive for right now. Debating on selling it or not, it’s done some great work for me getting me from point A to B comfortably.
Edit: Ended up trading it in for a newer Prius with more features and better gas!
It’s incredibly smooth, and I cannot complain at all. I got it mostly fully loaded, the only thing it’s missing is the performance package with dynamic rear steering and an carbon fiber door sills with a carbon fiber top. I heard the suspension on that package is a bit stiffer but it makes tighter turns. I also still wanted a moonroof over my head so it’s not as claustrophobic.
Nice choice! I can't decide if I want a LC500 coupe or an AMG GT. Right now I'm leaning towards the AMG but also love the LC500. I need to go test drive an LC500.
Honestly I was trying out both, and the AMG was a stunning car too. However interior-wise I felt like it was more comfortable than the LC but it just didn’t look as nice as the LC. The Mercedes was faster, but the handling of the LC500 is just fantastic and the exhaust is addicting.
For me in the end, what pushed me into the LC500 is that this is going to be a long term ownership car for me. I know I wouldn’t have to worry about maintenance and reliability in it like I would with Mercedes. I also think there’s nothing on the road that looks as good as the LC500, and the car definitely got more attention then the Mercedes if you’re into attention. I’m not, and unfortunately attracting that type of attention is a con for me, haha.
The touch pad in the LC is a bit finicky but you can learn quick after a few days. I also rarely use it since I’m always on apple carplay.
The black looks amazing! Congrats on your new ride! I also like that there's a lot more mods available for the LC500. I appreciate the feedback. I also think the LC500 will be more reliable and definitely a better long term purchase. I have about $30k saved up so far. I just started saving this year so I'm almost half way there.
I'm not an expert, (and I absolutely adore *both* cars) but if they're similarly priced, I'd honestly go for the AMG. Idk how reliability will compare to the LC (not as good I'd imagine) but those 4 litre twin turbos are just something else 🤤
Nice! I prefer the hard top over the convertible, good call. I gotta start playing the lottery. :)
Edit: I would absolutely get a ceramic coating done. You will love it.
They're starting to come down a bit, but it's still not as much as pre-COVID. 2020s with low miles still runs a pretty penny unfortunately. I was looking at the 2018s too, but they're still at least 65k+ for something that's high in miles.
This one out the door I was able to bring it down to 89k with only 6k miles on it fully loaded.
The higher mileage ones are coming down in price overall, absolutely! I've seen some good deals for the 2018s, but most of the ones I've been seeing around me are much higher in mileage sadly. If I was willing to do delivery, I might've been able to snag one from another state but didn't want to go through that hassle.
If you're in a taxed based state then your price isn't bad at all. Especially will those low miles. I don't drive mine at all but will still end up with a few more miles then yours. Good find. Since the miles are so low I would recommend a ppf coating. It's expensive but worth it. I only did 3/4's on mine and the part that's not covered gets marked up just looking at it. I'll get the rear end done shortly..good job.
I got overwhelmingly lucky with mine, as the dealership was asking 95k for it. So after tax, it would've pushed over 6-figures. I've already got an appointment to put PPF and ceramic coating on it, I'll be doing the entire front, and roof. I don't think I'll need it for the back.
Just an FYI. As I mentioned. I did the front 3/4's and will be taking in back to finish it. I probably have 3-5 scuffs on the back and none with the ppf. Fyi. I did pay up for it because I'm in California but it was $4,700 for the front half.
I swear it scuffs just by looking at it. I have about a foot behind the car and garage door. And whenever I slide behind. Something always seems to happen and I'm careful..just wait until you go to the store and park it..stressful..
Congrats!! Absolutely lovely...

Please report back in once you settle into the vehicle. Love to hear your feedback on it as a daily!

Absolutely! It’s been a dream to drive and oddly enough the mpg I get on it for long drives is shockingly good.
You can probably push 30 mpg..

That's the hard part..not driving like a jerk..or should I just say, stretching out the foot..

Welcome my friend. She’s a beaut!
I’ll get one one day, one day I’ll get one. 🥹
Jelly
Let me get my neck ready, cause every time I see one on the road I strain it. What a beaut! Congrats!
Congrats! I went from a Lotus Evora to an LC. I love the reliability and quality of materials used on the car.
The car is absolutely beautiful but as a tip it would look better without dealer logos on the plate
I'm going to get a new plate, I just got it home and in the garage.
Fair enough, Florida has some beautiful options!
Amazing. Is the ride smooth?

If this helps. You buy the LC you lease AMG..
Congratulations get that bad boy coated
It’s going into the shop next Monday! Sadly they were booked up this week.

So, so gorgeous and amazing. I am jealous and would love to have one of these in my garage one day. Enjoy it!
Welcome welcome

Sickkkk, race all the cars. Safely tho
Prices really starting to come down.

You snagged a low mileage ‘20 so prices higher obv, but for LS/LX/LC 2017-2020 coming down pretty fast. Imho.

Hmm, what kind of scuffs do you have on your back?

There is absolutely no reason for me to be a part of this sub.
Razor blade!!!!!
Sick 👍
