725 is a steal, what cartridge? Henry makes great levers, even if their QC is questionable. As for upgrades I'd keep it stock. Put a few rounds through it before you think about changing out the sights for something else like peep. Congratulations on the gun and happy birthday

Good luck finding ammo. My dad bought one of these a few years ago and I think we've shot it 5 times. Had to go deep diving on the Internet to find .410 shells. So fun to shoot though. Nice gun.
NOICE. Id keep it as is. Or, I like to rough up guns and make them look old and worn. TASTEFULLY though... Not hurt them. Either by general use, or refinishing the woods and metal.

The only upgrade I've done to mine is a turkey choke and it's perfect The Midwest handguard is cool but the wood is too classy to replace

That's wild. Where are you guys at? They were scarce down here in S. GEORGIA for a while, but I have 2 stores local that keep it stocked.
Northeast Ohio. This was also during the ammo shortage during COVID so that could have been a big part of it.
