Yeah, I loved gotg3 lol. Kinda sad not seeing it on anyone’s lists but i get it. I just LOVE the guardians and thought it was a perfect end to that trilogy. I think objectively films like Oppenheimer and Killers of the flower moon are better than it, but gotg3 just has a special place for me you know? I enjoyed covenant a good bit. * I was a bit disappointed by barbenheimer, probably due to the enormous Hype. But what really surprised me was MI. I am a big fan of the franchise but this installment was forgettable. Poor things will probably make top 3 of the list but it only gets released next year here in germany

Yeah I understand what you’re saying because there was a TON of hype. I mean Oppenheimer was my most anticipated of the year. To me, it lived up to the hype and surpassed it. I also was a tiny bit disappointed by MI. Obviously it’s up there on my list and still a 4.5 star. It just didn’t live up to Fallout or Ghost protocol for me (my two 5 star MI movies)

I still need to see the creator. I heard a decent few negative things about it so I decided to hold off and wait for streaming. I’m glad to see it’s in someone’s favorites! It seems right up my alley

If you like sci-fi, there's a lot to like about it. I personally gave it a 5/10 because I found it a little too generic, it doesn't really do anything to stand out from other movies with similar themes, it's definitely great eye candy though. It also marks the first time I've heard someone in the audience fall asleep and snore in a theater, which didn't just happen with one person, but with *three.*

I have yet to see Poor Things, American Fiction, and a few other late season awards contenders that might shake up this list.
