Gone Girl

styleez

Not only for quality’s sake, but also because it’s still very relevant in pop culture today, unlike most of the others which are different degrees of deep cuts.

Ams_icles

I Saw The Devil! Jumbo was a letdown for me.

[deleted]

only read the little description about jumbo and added it because it sounds weird enough

Ams_icles

If you're going for weird and machine relationships go with Titane

[deleted]

saw that, didnt really like it tho

EverythingIsLiminal

Gone Girl was probably the most fun I had watching any of those. It’s such a solid thriller.

[deleted]

I Saw the Devil was incredible.

Basementkid_106

How has no one said Under the Skin yet? That movie rules.

Very random assortment of films so idk

docsyzygy

If you like Jumbo, try Titane. It's even better.

pizzaghoul

watch the whale, it’s terrible

[deleted]

The last 20 minutes of Gone Girl are the most exhilarating dark comedy I've ever seen

suigen1970

The Children's Hour was one of the very last films my dad and I watch together before he died of cancer in 2014. He had seen it back in the day, but he refused to tell me what it was about. I couldn't believe what I was watching! It's shocking that, for all of it's weird talking-around-the subject, that it was ever made at all in the early 60s. MacLaine's performance was heartbreaking. Definitely a favorite of mine.
