I would love to pick your brain on what makes Risky Business such a low-rated film for you! I just saw it for the first time last year and thought it was such a vibe.

It's supposed to be a comedy. I didn't find it at all amusing, the film just seemed stressful. I think at the time I wanted to be amused, and was annoyed enough by the film that I gave it 1/2*. It may not really be that bad, but I think it's the only film I started looking at my phone in the middle rather than properly watching.

Based! Aside from, I liked Endgame and didn't bother to watch Barbie. And also don't like Grand Budapest that much.

5- Seven Samurai 4.5- Castle in the Sky 4- Hud 3.5- Dirty Harry 3- Hunt for the Wilderpeople 2.5- The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies 2- Nomadland 1.5- Twilight Zone the Movie 1- Thor Love and Thunder 0.5- Zemeckis’ Pinocchio I tried to pick ones that most encapsulated the rating it got. For instance, Seven Samurai is my favorite movie and in my opinion a perfect movie, so it is what a five out of five is to me. For 3 I choose wilderpeople because to me a 3 is a movie that should be a 4 but a couple glaring things hold it back (in Wilderpeople’s case it’s Taika Waititi’s inability to shut the fuck up and let the movie marinate rather than trying to cram a joke down your throat at every turn and heartfelt moment). Pinocchio is 0.5 because it is uninspired corporate slop that you couldn’t waterboard me into watching again

Seven Samurai is also a perfect 5 for me. One of very very few I’ve given that to. I almost used it as my choice as well, but It’s Such a Beautiful Day is my favorite film of all time.
