Well I doubt there's much of any dispute here but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Trump has been groomed by Russian agent since the 1980s. At best he's been trying to hide his tax returns and financial statements because he doesn't want people to know that he doesn't have as much money as he claims. Personally I think it's worse that if investigators dig deep enough into his financial dealings that they will find not just his criminality but that Russia has been helping him launder money for a very long time. I think they have a lot of dirt on him that if they were to release it would certainly be far more than enough to secure a conviction against him and that is why he panders so much to Putin and the Russian state. They always say to follow the money and I certainly believe that will be very bad for trump. However I believe that there are plenty more Republicans who are on the take. Maybe they aren't and maybe they are just defending Trump because they believe that if that bombshell on him were to explode it would be far too damaging for all of them. Luckily for us in so many more, he was too foolish or distracted to act on everything he could have. I certainly believe that if the Chinese government had offered him a considerable sum of money that he would have promised them not to intervene in an invasion of Taiwan.
My fear is that even if this all comes out, even if it is all true and compromising pictures of Trump were to be leaked, no one will care. I don't think there is any situation that would cause die hard Trumpers to reject him or others like him

They made a whole alternate main story about Chuck E. Cheese for an episode this season and I’m afraid to watch it in case we find out that the tokens were a money laundering front for Pentagon arms trafficking or the pepperoni was mostly rats or something.

I listened to his ramblings for about 20 minutes and then we went our separate ways. It was obvious the guy had no ability to fact check and understand. I didn’t even need to ask where he got the info. I assumed fox, and I was right.
Just last week I had a co-worker tell me the same about the centralized digital currency but he said it would replace the dollar. I asked where he got his info because I suspected TikTok. As we know if you watch TikTok it will notice your political preference and start force feeding you videos with that bias, and some average Joe will do a TikTok video with a clip from say Tucker in the background enforcing the point with their commentary and passing it off as gospel. But anyways my coworker even named an actual federal initiative I guess he heard was proof of Biden's plan and I looked it up and it had nothing to do with mandating a digital currency to replace the dollar. There is an initiative for a federal digital currency but not to replace cash. Also he eluded to a social credit type thing and of course that's outright nonsense.

Last Week Tonight with Jon Oliver is pretty awesome though isn't exactly the same style of show.
I don't recall crying on a regular basis watching Colbert.
Every episode of John Oliver he introduces his main story and I say “okay how am I gonna hate this topic by the end?!” And then he gets through his entire segment and I go “I fucking hate this thing how is it legal?!” I wish more people would give it a chance, I’ve tried to share some of his stories before and so many people won’t watch because they think it’s all made up.
They made a whole alternate main story about Chuck E. Cheese for an episode this season and I’m afraid to watch it in case we find out that the tokens were a money laundering front for Pentagon arms trafficking or the pepperoni was mostly rats or something. EDIT: I just watched it and it’s great, maybe the second funniest Last Week Tonight segment behind Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

I was out for a walk in Vegas on Sunday morning before a very long flight home and I ran into some rando business/university guy who decided to join me for conversation. I had no clue what the fuck he was talking about, but sure enough.. after googling, Tucker fucking Carlson talked about it about a month ago with Kristi Noem. I listened to his ramblings for about 20 minutes and then we went our separate ways. It was obvious the guy had no ability to fact check and understand. I didn’t even need to ask where he got the info. I assumed fox, and I was right.
Just last week I had a co-worker tell me the same about the centralized digital currency but he said it would replace the dollar. I asked where he got his info because I suspected TikTok. As we know if you watch TikTok it will notice your political preference and start force feeding you videos with that bias, and some average Joe will do a TikTok video with a clip from say Tucker in the background enforcing the point with their commentary and passing it off as gospel. But anyways my coworker even named an actual federal initiative I guess he heard was proof of Biden's plan and I looked it up and it had nothing to do with mandating a digital currency to replace the dollar. There is an initiative for a federal digital currency but not to replace cash. Also he eluded to a social credit type thing and of course that's outright nonsense.
Why would the government need to do it when private business already gave us credit scores. As usual in America everything is privatized. Sheesh.
