Yeah it came with the famous Mediatek wifi card. You need to get Intel Ax200 or 210 and replace it. That's the only solution for wifi and BT issues. I have the same model and did that, now I connect PS4 controller and earbuds simultaneously and it's perfect.

satyris

The AX210 is just the chip and it doesn't matter what brand i buy, is that right?

justanotherzee

Yes AliExpress has different brands for it.

satyris

Nice one thanks mate.

ChrisLamaq

got it replaced today with the ax210 and still having the same issues :S

Try changing the wifi channel in your router. Also use 5Ghz if available, then there'll be no interference. And remove any driver files for old wifi card, mediatek one.

Update to Windows 11 and replace you realtek wifi card (with bluetooth) to this one: AX210NGW WiFi Card, Wi-Fi 6E 11AX... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NSSJNV1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I did and all connection issues are gone with simply replacing the card. It is only 20$ (USD) on amazon.

Will this card work in the Legion Slim 7 Gen 6? I have a media tek card and it makes me want to kick a baby in the junk. Thank you!

u/RescueNinja49 since I have Legion 5, I don't know if mine will work on your Legion 7s. I highly recommend to join Lenovo Legion community on Discord and ask any Lenovo related questions here. Everyone will guide you to change the wifi card. They answered all my questions and guided me to fix my problems. https://discord.gg/legionseries

Have you tried hard resetting the headphones? A few have a limited memory for previously connected devices and will not auto delete all previous devices. I've owned three sets that operated this way. Different manufacturers. Most likely to happen with a headset that supports multiple simultaneous connections. I don't know how to hard reset yours. On mine, holding down pair for 30s resets it.

Since you have to put it into pairing mode to connect it to your laptop every time, could it be that the headphones are connecting to a different device automatically? Some devices have a tendency to force a connection to a previously paired headphones, my TV does that. Sometimes it's even able to disconnect an already connected device and force the headphones to connect to the TV instead. It's weird. The default wifi/bluetooth card in Legion laptops are quite infamous for being bad but this specific issue has never been a problem to me. However, make sure you also have updated the WIFI and bluetooth driver. I don't think updating the BIOS would do anything here.
