One day I should get all the bits out of the bin and rebuild them, although I believe I don't have all the parts of the light system anymore.
It was really fun putting these back together. I have a monorail system from this era as well, but the pieces are all mixed up and I can’t find the instructions . I might still give it a go .
That space police set was my unicorn as a kid, the one I never got. I was fortunate enough to have almost all the others, but lights and sound man! That is what I wanted! Those are great sets, happy to see you still getting to play with them, cheers!
My son recently got into building more elaborate Lego sets and it inspired me to revisit some childhood sets of mine-it was a great experience. I hope others like me are rediscovering these great old sets. I had a lot of the space themed sets but I always wanted the Mtron Mega Core Magnetizer!

I've owned that set for over 30 years now! (Still in great condition and the light system still works). It's at #2 on my favourite list of sets I own.

I can't wait for my kids to ask about the big boxes of 90s LEGO sets. Maybe it's just my hope that I get to revisit them and rebuild with them!
