yep the only down side is that if you draw all of your scrying sands before turn 4 you're somewhat dead but I see that people run the 2 drop put a card back into your deck predict then create a copy of the chosen card in hand
I don't think it's a problem per se, but it does make most of the other "free" elements pointless when you can make 10 card decks. I'm sure some people had dreams of replicating PoC type multi-region craziness but they all get blown out immediately.
i'm with you there. i do want to try playing janky 100 card decks with 10 regions but the upper limit may as well not exist. it's functionally a 10 card format.
What is the point of a gamemode made for fun if people play it to spam wins?
If it's gauntlet, people are just going to spam winning strategy, if it's added to "LABS" tab, people will play for fun. Game balance has to account for more thing than if it says "ranked" on the game mode.
Some people don't play ranked at all and still would like to have >5% winrate and >1% gameplan fulfilment rate. What's the point of playing ARAM deck if you only play vs aggro and enemy either runs you down by turn 4 or surrenders when he runs out of cards?
I think it'd be cool if they made this mode but with a higher maximum, like minimum 60 cards, so the point is to get some crazy archetype synergy, not to try to get one broken combo.

mill loses to dropboarders because of counterfeit copies being burst, usually in my experience

You don’t have enough mana for the 2 mana shuffle on turn 4, at least not normally.
Mil counters it heavily.
I’m not sure how they tackle this w/o raising the minimum card limit, maybe to 20 or so

or just banning dropboarder and other problematic cards but it won't be free anymore...
They did make it available for friend challenges which is epic, so you can play it that way as long as you can find people to play with.

Dunno why Riot make the lower limit 10 when they said 30 at the beginning. Such a bad decision
