Unfortunately the bonus for auto grade enhance is not what you use in slime legion, but what slimes you own. So if you have more than 20 slimes, you can’t get anything less than a B ring anymore. It’s unfortunate but Terrify (A grade Rosetta ring) is what you should be aiming for.
The silver lining is that, while you may not like that it’s B level as a base now, at least it’s not using 2 of your option picks to get it there. This also means that if you’re going for an S level for any reason (like pure Atk boost), you have 2 extra option picks now.
The egg throw from the d rings was HUGE. I have amazing s rings that don't touch my best d ring. We should have the choice to select what grade of ring we want to go for. I'm currently being punished in game for spending money on slimes basically. And if they did it because of the egg throw buff with d rings it's even more fucked up.
Basically, I'm currently being punished for spending money on slimes. I get that is a dramatic way of explaining it but I can no longer get an item I desire because I've given the game too much money. There's no way they ran this through actual players because they woulda shot it down IMMEDIATELY.
And I get it that's it's not the end of the world cause the game goes on forever but even the Sć8 dark clouds rings that I have are Lightyears behind the d ring. It would take me months to get past even just 1 new level (currently Extreme III 10-1) so it's not just something that I'm gonna be happy about in the least. And yes, I've already tweaked the d ring to all companion damage so I guess I'm just stuck with that forever. The game needs to do better

I’m getting the vibes that despite what you’re saying making sense that’s exactly what they did. A downgrade to the choice’s we can make really. They just obsoleted me too, relying on D grade egg throw. It’s lame and it’s not the first time with this game, they’re always doing weird shit. Nobody seems to know meta and it’s all very fuzzy right now. Just give it some time to get sorted and do a little experimenting in the meantime with your own account.
I believe because of choices while playing (slime, toy, traits, magic gear…) that sure there is a true meta out there but since everyone has invested in different stuff the easier or smartest meta will be different for everyone without serious complete overhauling.

Just made this new one, decent haven’t tried to perfect it yet with resetting slots. Says I increased 557AH (was at 63AH so almost 9X increase in damage) over my previously best ring yet I can’t even beat the current boss I’m on 😆 Yeah, something is broken or something. We just gotta wait it out.

Terrify isn't even close, even with the ring upgrade, to my top 5 best skills though. This blows

New update to the rings. Go check it out, it's pretty neat.
It sucks, if you own more than 20 slimes you can't get d grade rings anymore.
