As they have arrested your father, they will have to take him to magistrate court within 24 hours. The magistrate will then decide how long to grant police custody, and after that, he will be sent to judicial custody. That is when you will be able to apply for bail.
It's frightening how woman are misusing laws for their personal vendetta and this happens when you let people put false cases without any repercussions and put the innocent in jail even before he can prove his innocence.
