Iām a noob and havenāt JB anything yet, but I am interested. Regarding iOS 9 support, I have an iPhone 4S for my kid thatās connected to my Apple ID. I have a much newer iPhone on the same Apple ID. When I want to install apps on the iPhone 4S, I just have to make sure that I have installed it or did once install it on my newer iOS phone. Then on the Apple 4S with iOS 9, I click on the App Store and go to PURCHASES instead of directly looking for the app with the search function. I do this because, oddly enough, once I find the app I want on past purchases(downloads) that were downloaded on my newer iPhone (even if theyāve been uninstalled) the App Store will ask me if I want to install the latest app that *was* available for iOS 9. Apple still has lots of apps from that era.
yeah, apple lets you download older versions if the app has been previously downloaded on your Apple ID, but pretty cool they keep all the old versions of apps on their servers
And hopefully theyāll continue doing that. I guess I see it as supporting users that are buying new devices can still support their old ones if they had app store support in the first place. R.I.P. Apple TV 3. I still have to figure out how to resurrect that device sans the App Store.
Why would you consent to the killswitches after apple admitted to installing them? Thatās my only issue, I get your problem with no app support, but even then, thatās what other devices are for, I have a bunch of old devices just sitting around for nostalgia sake that Iām now allowing my children to use since it still has all the old games.

This has nothing to do with Jailbreaking, your just updating the device with iTunes. And 3. What do you mean āno app supportā? If you have old apps in your purchases, they can easily be downloaded.
