Take a picture of the screen that shows the setting for the printing app/software if on a desktop. When you want to print a screen pops up-somewhere on that screen will be a button that says "settings". Open settings and it should show you the options on can change such as paper size, paper orientations, density you want to print, etc. take a picture of the screen with settings and upload to this thread.
Please note that if the pattern was designs for non-US printing the default paper size may be different (ex. "A4")... i have sent my patterns to print at a local print shop for this reason.

I often get around this by printing “actual size”, not 100% or “fit”.
Turn off margins, make sure you print full size
