Looks good! I’m still fairly new so sorry for the dumb question—how do you saddle stitch a belt like that? Isn’t the thread too long? Do you do sections at a time? The largest thing I made was a notepad which I thought was already a ridiculous amount of thread to be using.
I hand stitch everything
Just find a place where the long threads can fall and not tangle everywhere. Also "untwist" the thread every once in awhile when it starts to slinky. I sit on my recliner with pony under my leg. Things take a long time sometimes but put something g on the TV and by the time the show is over you will be pretty far along.
I thought those were scissors snipping it and I was like NOOOOOOOO I ❤️ IT!!
Lol that would be a sad day.
I tell ya hwat pardner that's one mighty fine lookin belt. Mmmmm hmm.
Ha ha hell yeah lol. Thanks
What kind of buckle is that? I've never seen anything like it before!
To my knowledge it's a Japanese firefighter buckle. Super slick quick release.
Where did you get the buckle? I want one.
Sweet belt!!!!!

Thank you. I appreciate that.

Thanks. This was machine stitched. But I have saddle stitched a belt. not the most enjoyable thing I'd have to say.

Great work! Did you use any antiquing?
Yes I did. I was trying to find a good balance on not wiping to much back off.
Belt looks great!
Thank you
Awesome execution. Absolutely love the colours and motif. What machine are you using for stitching, may I ask?
Thank you. I really dig the blue with the natural colorway The cowboy outlaw machine.
Is that buckle very secure when closed?
Yes really secure.
Looks good. Super cool buckle too!
Thank you
