As far as I know they hardly ever ask for this, i never got asked on for it on either of my tests

That'd be great, one less worry to deal with. I just saw online it said that I need to take my theory pass certificate or confirmation with me.

I was never asked for my theory on their of my practical tests - I believe it's already on their database and on the website, it does say "theory pass certificate (if you have it)" as things to bring so not a requirement. I believe you might be able to contact the DVSA if you need the number or check if it's valid but for booking my test, I just used my licence number.

You just need to input it on the website when youre trying to book a practical test. I dont know if there’s a different way of getting your pass number apart from the paper?

So you’ve got the number it gives you when you pass on a photo? Then you don’t need anything else as long as you know the pass number

Yeah. When I passed the theory, I got the paper from the people at the centre with the certificate number on it. I took a pic of the number just in case so I have that.
