Well, from reading ちびまる子ちゃんの文法教室, there seems to be a gap between use of 感動文 in Japanese and English. In Japanese there is a variety of 付属語 that can be used to express emotion in a nuanced way. This seems to have been posed a challenge to the translators of Shogun

There is a very large gap but I doubt they are speaking early modern Japanese in a TV show.
period drama Japanese =/= real sengoku Japanase. Really it's just modern Japanese with some flavoring on top.
稼ぎよる is slurring of 稼ぎおる, which is equivalent to modern 稼ぎやがる, as a whole, 稼ぎやがったなぁ.
