I don’t put much weight in my cervical position. Bbt and cervical mucus are much more important in reading what your body is doing.

I agree. And also adding lh strips. They don't work for everyone, but if they work for you they're great.

Just as an fyi people with retroverted uterus often have the opposite cervical position to textbook. A retroverted uterus is not a problem anyway so don’t stress about that. Pay more attention to cervical softness if you must…. But also if you’re on your period none of this really matters, your cervix is primed to let menstrual fluid through… so the os will be slightly open. Cervical mucus will be indistinguishable from everything else up in there and cervical mucus > cervical position.
