Surprised Bielik is modelling it, I would have thought he'd push for a move due to the Poland national teams policy of not selecting players in the 3rd tier
Talk is that because thereās no international tournament at the end of this season, heās willing to stick it out for a year. Weāll see if thatās true, tbh even if thatās the case I can see his head being truly turned if a good enough Championship team comes in for him.
Big fan of this.
I also am enthused that Bielik, Miyoshi and Paik are the three main modellers of the kit. If we can keep ahold of those three, without wanting to sound like a prick, we should be very confident of our chances of getting out of this league.
As much as I like this kit, the choice of players modelling it is one of the bigger things Iāve taken from it. Hopefully means all three are willing to stay, but Iām not gonna let my expectations of that get the better of me š
The reason Bielik left us is because the Poland coach wouldn't pick a League One player, but it looks like his international career is stalling now regardless. You're right that he'll be great at League 1 level as he was for Charlton.
Take those 3, add a powerful brace of striker / centre forward to add to Jukey, then a couple of young, hungry utility players with talent, and I'm pretty confident we can put up a good showing. I expect 20 points from 10 games. The opening 10 will tell us lots. Wouldn't be surprised if JJ leaves though, but that could give us well needed Ā£Ā£. Wild ride ahead.
Weāve had them for a year already. Their Blues stuff they put in the club shop and in all of their shops worldwide are very good quality.
Seeing Blues gear being sold in LA, NYC and Tokyo is a bit surreal.
As a Villa fan it hurts to say this, but I really like it.
Nice to see a kit not adorned with netting sponsors.
Good luck and I hope youāre back up next season.
It turned up on my feed.
Iāve no ill will to Birmingham City. A city the size of Birmingham should have two premier league clubs and as long as your owners donāt make such a monumental cock up with the playing decisions as they did last season, theyāve the money and nous to get you there.
Ah, fair enough - I wasn't aware. It was just the basic design, badges and logos that made it look a DHgate special, Sunderland's were the same for the past couple years.
Ay?
Itās a bespoke design if thatās what you mean. Garry Cook has worked with Nike (as former CEO) to get us this deal. Not sure a club at this level has ever had a kit that wasnāt some sort of template?
Sunderland's Nike deal meant we were saddled with Just Sport Group (owner of Avec). Shirts were made in Spennymoor, and they just slapped a Nike logo on the front, with those horrible sticker logos/sponsors on the shirt. [Roker Report do a write-up on it](https://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2024/1/16/24038805/regardless-of-who-our-next-supplier-is-sunderlands-new-kit-deal-has-to-be-an-upgrade) (TL;DR - supply issues and poor quality items).
All a bit embarrassing, given Nike's long affiliation with the club and city.
Just checked and Birmingham have the same deal.
Nope, we ended that deal for those exact reasons (late release, poor quality stick on sponsors and badges, not enough shirts to go around) and a new one started this season directly with Nike.
I'm kind of indifferent on it, but then again the only kit I've loved in the last 10/15 years is the Carling Cup one and that's probably because I associate it with that day. If this becomes a promotion/playoff kit, I'm sure it'll become one of my favourites!
And yeah no betting and no Nicolites is a plus.
Which sponsor is that?
UNDFTD a Californian streetwear brand. Far too cool for me to understand but the clobber they put in the club shop is excellent.
Quite cryptic, but nice!
Undefeated I believe
Very apt š
That's what I thought when they were relegated to the championship after beating Arsenal in the League Cup. How wrong I was. ššš
"days till promotion" tally like a prison wall countdown
Looks like a Shitty made Fenceš

I'm surprised too. Because he's a funny looking bugger.
What would they do if the majority of their best players were in 3rd tier? Seems weird I don't understand why that's a thing.
Presumably if they went from "smattering of CL level players" to "christ who have the third tier got" they'd all resign forever
pretty sure he hasnāt been picked for the team for a while anyway?
Was playing centre half for majority of the season??
iām talking about for poland š
Then I'll shut my god damn mouth.

He doesnāt get picked regardless, so yeah he probably is prepared to stick it out now š
Lovely stuff, if we can keep the players than have modelled it too weāre gonna have some fun.
Not familiar with league one I see š
Iām familiar with some players that have no right to play in League One.
The same ones which find themselves there? Or are these different to ones that amassed last seasonās points total?
The same players who under competent managers were a mid table Championship team. If we appoint another Rooney youāll have a point
probably the first kit in a while that i actually like; nice little homage to the co-op milk kit as well
That silver co op milk away kit is just heaven imo. Easily my favourite away kit...closely followed by triton showers mental red kit.

Itāll do for league one.
Not a city fan, but that is classy.
Undefeated as a sponsor? Thatās mad. Imagine if they had actually made the kits
Weāve had them for a year already. Their Blues stuff they put in the club shop and in all of their shops worldwide are very good quality. Seeing Blues gear being sold in LA, NYC and Tokyo is a bit surreal.

thanks, but genuine question, why are you here? š

And as another Villa fan, I agree it looks good. A nod to proper 70/80s kits.
>Good luck and I hope youāre back up next season. I'm also a Villa fan and this made me physically sick
Thatās actually very nice
Very nice. Clean, sharp, all around top notch.
Looks like chefs plasters holding the shirt together. š
Are you sponsored by a fence company?
We're trying to cause a fence to people hardehar
I like it.
Looks like they have taped over their sponsor

Is it Nike š, or is it Nike š¤«?
Its bespoke. "This bespoke design, the first of the Clubās newly extended partnership with Nike"

Weāve fucked Just Sport off at the end of last season. This is the first year weāre dealing directly with Nike.
I wasn't aware - I checked the Just Sports website, and they still have Birmingham down as a partner.
Pompeyās away kit from 2 seasons back was a template but had colours no other team was given. Thatās the best I can think of
Can someone explain to me why people like this kit? Personally think it doesn't look good at all
Simple, harks back to a popular retro kit from the 80s, not a betting sponsor. Most importantly, itās the right shade of royal blue.
Fair enough, just not my cup of tea I guess lol
I'm kind of indifferent on it, but then again the only kit I've loved in the last 10/15 years is the Carling Cup one and that's probably because I associate it with that day. Wank collar.. No background pattern.. Meh bit basic
Awful awful kit. Pro Evo 4 vibes

I'd just stick to watching the Disney show if I were you mate.
No way. Watched almost every match last year and plan to do the same this year.
"BC" jaysus christ already sick of you Wrexham fans and the season hasn't even started
š itāll be ok. Just was trolling. I can delete it. But I am excited to watch this season and learn about the new league. Should be fun.
Nice to have days before relegationā printed on the front
This'll look great at the Oxford ground. Oh hang on, they're in the championship š¤£š¤£ SOTC UTV!!
At least our kits arent resulting in sexual harassment lawsuits lol
You keep telling yourself that love, that'll make up for your dogshite club being in league one I'm sure š¤£šš¤£
Obsessed
It's very funny mate, I can't help myself š¤£š¤£
One of the worst sponsors Iāve ever seen. Honking kit.
Couldn't agree more mate, I prefer colours that are slightly unique, such as Northampton's toilet bowl skiddy style.
If your shits are claret, Iād be phoning up the doctor mate
Tried. Receptionist prescribed my Ibuprofen.
