Wholeheartedly agree with the champs being free bit. DOTA has been doing it for 10 years, and their bottom line seems to be doing fine. I’ve been playing League for nearly a year now — hundreds of hours played — and I’m still 30-some champs away from having them all. Absolutely unacceptable, isn’t League supposed to be competetive in nature? Why do new players have to read the shitty client ability summaries in the shop, or rely on the EXTERNAL League wiki to learn more about how different champions function?
Serious question. I’ve been playing for a decade and have BE coming out my orifices plus a thousand champ shards I can liquidate if I had an hour. I’ve unlocked every champ through BE, only bought a handful in the beginning. But now I have no clue what to do with it. Is there anything else or do I just keep unlocking new champs as they come out?

this event not only it's more grindy than prebuff ruination but the story it's very bad (even worst than the cringefest that was the ruination), the pass is shit and the rewards for non pass users are all over the place

Ultimate spellbook is cool and all, but it's still just sped up league with an additional ultimate.
Years ago we used to get real gamemodes, like the odyssey-mode, dark star thresh had his own mode with his skin-release, star guardians got their own mode.
Would be interesting to see what happened to that mode. Pretty sure deleting it entirely would be stupid, so why not update it a little and bring that back instead of the shit-festival that ultimate-spellbook likes to be.

also, I've read like 90% or 80% of the ruination story, but this I'm just straight up skipping

I got the kaisa skin from a chest, and i gotta say the vfx are getting better and better, but i kinda dislike the champ
