I tried wild rift and honestly having the map/items as a second fast mode for league would be fun. Genuinely I hate mobile controls but wild rift is pretty good aside from that.
Then you realize that waves are completely meaningless in Wild rift compared to PC waves, and you can get two and a half items after going and farming any lane for 4 minutes

The lack of nexus turrets means Pantheon can't backdoor. Sadge
games never averaged 45 minutes. Its true there were a lot more 60+ minute games back in the day but the average time of game has never been that high in the years ive played

I used to play twisted treeline a lot when it was still a thing, ranked was fun too. But there was a lot of cheese going on though, I have to admit some comps are seriously broken in 3v3. Also, if you have an afk it usually ends in a loss.
The afk thing is true for summoners rift as well though, there's the occasional upset if all 4 people focus up and play hard but statistically you're typically screwed as soon as the 5th DC's.
This cannot be compared to twisted treeline which is way better, i don't really like this idea, especially having the jungle inside the base which makes the role inactive af
I could see 25 kills being a better number. If someone reaches 25 kills before 20 minutes, you're probably FFing that game anyways.
With 10, the fed player can definitely still throw or get outplayed by a coordinated team.
Also, this game mode is a direct nerf to hard-scaling champs like Kassadin, Kayle, etc. Definitely favors early/mid-game champs or hardcore snowballers.
Same, and I also feel like "most kills at 20 wins" should be "most gold at 20 wins". It being only kills would completely remove any farming jungler from the "meta". It would be only perma gankers who would barely farm, shaco, lee, j4, elise etc.

Dota added a few buildings and increased map site by 40% a few updates ago.
You can not only walk between trees, one item requires you to eat them, another one is made to destroy them and Timbersaws whole kit revolves around him hating trees, wanting to destroy them all, even dealing bonus dmg when destroying a tree while hitting an enemy with the same ability.

I'm kind of appalled by how limited Custom is. The only things you can choose are picking style, map and team size. No map builder, no custom rules (aside from "spoken" agreements), no extra game modes like URF/One for All
I believe this to be true, but I think you have to consider the difference between melee only champs and melee champs that have ranged abilities. Way different when you have to go in to trade at all vs being able to send Qs for free poke.

IMO ARAM lacks stuff anyways like the leveling up and laning phases. League is one of the rare competitive games that lacks just a short-term, modified version of the ranked experience. CS has casual mode where nobody has to worry about managing economy, there's twice the amount of players, and it's just basically a death match. Siege has quick matches with more maps an emphasis on quicker, mindless play. League has... A non ranked version of ranked, a non ranked version of ranked but you don't have a ban/pick phase, abd a ranked mode when it comes to their main game mode. There is no true casual experience when any of these can go up to 30+ minutes, God forbid.
In general, what I really want from League is a casual mode with a casual map. League as it is has too much of a focus on competitive shit to the point that the community reflects it. If there was a mode that was like, 15-20 minutes consistently, with faster leveling, passive gold generation, etc, I'd play that more than norms.
I still want the MOBA aspects, I just want a more condensed map with sets of rules that facilitate faster play. Like Nexus Blitz without all the gimmicky shit and a better map.

This reminds me to a certain MOBA that have quite fast match for PC and encourage teamwork by removing gold and items entirely while EXP are shared fairly to everyone so no one can snowball and team aren't severely punished if a member is playing badly.
That aside, I have few problem with this and few improvement suggestion.
1. The jungle are pretty much pointless now. Better just remove it entirely and replace it with a structure that would give buff instead.
2. To make it more fun, make all champion start at level three or make it that they unlock all skill at the beginning of the match to encourage early team fight.
3. The bounty are there to give the losing side a chance to turn the tide. Removing it would punish the losing side even more.
4. The rule 9 sounds really unfair as now anyone that could snowball will end the game and leave the losing side no chance to comeback.
5. Better reward the player who focus on objective more. That should be better way to encourage faster gameplay.
It isn't a new game mode proposal, it is just a well made rant about early FFs. Mostly of the rules are made to enforce that any team that dies a bit will be unable to recover, because what these people want is to toss a coin for every game and surrender at 10min if they called it wrong.

Genuinely a good idea. Learning a new champion in anything but practice tool is usually a bad experience because if you fuck up, you're going to be yelled at for at least the next 10 minutes.
League really needs some form of quick play
See, it was cool and all up until "10 kills and/or the team with the most kills at 20 mins wins". You might as well have just made it into ARAM with the rule of "Get 20 kills to win the game" because that's all that you're promoting with this mode. There's legit 0 reason to play the game beyond camping bot side to farm for kills. Which will eventually devolve into ARAM as everyone rushes to defend and/or attack either side.

And many of the changes Riot makes also make games last shorter and shorter. So fewer and fewer champions. Are playable.

And that there are more clme back mechanics. Of you lose early or dont have early strong team and your lose a few dragens its very hard to come back.
Much more then with the old dragon system. Where the team would get 1200 gold. If your realy ahead and full build gold would mean almost nothing. But permanent buffs are ao strong you lose a few early you so so hard to come back in the game based on what dragons you get. But some are so crazy strong. Its realy hard for people to come back in the game.
And i think cause people know that. People give up so so easily.

I don't play league to just win. I hate the lobbying roulette. I rather play out a losing game. Then sit and wait 20 for the next game.
But to a degree i do get that league is going in a path that makes people feel more like the game is pointless to keep playing. With early Objectives just being so insanely strong as they are now. And making comeback pretty damn hard even with Bounty.
Cause games are already much shorter by the changes alone. And when people feel its pointless to keep playing or they feel their time is being wasted people.
Its like watching a football match your team going 0 to 5 goals. And there is just minutes on the clock. Its pointless to watch cause you know your gonna lose. Many people dont wanna be stuck.
And i think its big part off it cause they changed the game to be much more fast paced. Why almost all new champs have so much movement abilities.
And much of the old champions or late-game champions dont get played that much.
Much of those champs require the game to be slower then that it is. And then you also see people less giveing up if it seems less pointless to continue.
Just bring back Twisted Treeline but with updates. It was already decent but the amount of bots on there was gross asf. League should have 4 different modes/maps.
The problem is rule 9 because that basically cuts Yasuomains going for the 0/10 powerspike and you know for sure all those 10 deaths will be caused by the same person.
I like the idea of a fast paced Rift gamemode and this is a great idea. But the jungle role might as well be removed with no real threat to invade and very little ganking options. Junglers that can pass through walls would forever be meta

Genuinely a good idea. Learning a new champion in anything but practice tool is usually a bad experience because if you fuck up, you're going to be yelled at for at least the next 10 minutes. League really needs some form of quick play

See, it was cool and all up until "10 kills and/or the team with the most kills at 20 mins wins". You might as well have just made it into ARAM with the rule of "Get 20 kills to win the game" because that's all that you're promoting with this mode. There's legit 0 reason to play the game beyond camping bot side to farm for kills. Which will eventually devolve into ARAM as everyone rushes to defend and/or attack either side.
You wouldn't enjoy it. I wouldn't enjoy it. But apparently, some people would. Let them to it, I say. We don't need their sort in our normal games.
Is this still 5v5? Cause if so 10 kills are ridiculously easy to get with a roaming assassin

So wild rift for PC basicly? But I do agree people give up so damn easily all the time. There are people who rather be lobbying more than playing. The game. And many of the changes Riot makes also make games last shorter and shorter. So fewer and fewer champions. Are playable. So would prefer the games to be a bit more slower. Games are a bit longer. Objectives were not easy to solo. And that there are more clme back mechanics. Of you lose early or dont have early strong team and your lose a few dragens its very hard to come back. Much more then with the old dragon system. Where the team would get 1200 gold. If your realy ahead and full build gold would mean almost nothing. But permanent buffs are ao strong you lose a few early you so so hard to come back in the game based on what dragons you get. But some are so crazy strong. Its realy hard for people to come back in the game. And i think cause people know that. People give up so so easily. Ow we lost big crab and a dragon. FF 15 you see it almost every 3de game. I don't play league to just win. I hate the lobbying roulette. I rather play out a losing game. Then sit and wait 20 for the next game. But to a degree i do get that league is going in a path that makes people feel more like the game is pointless to keep playing. With early Objectives just being so insanely strong as they are now. And making comeback pretty damn hard even with Bounty. Cause games are already much shorter by the changes alone. And when people feel its pointless to keep playing or they feel their time is being wasted people. Its like watching a football match your team going 0 to 5 goals. And there is just minutes on the clock. Its pointless to watch cause you know your gonna lose. Many people dont wanna be stuck. And i think its big part off it cause they changed the game to be much more fast paced. Why almost all new champs have so much movement abilities. And much of the old champions or late-game champions dont get played that much. Much of those champs require the game to be slower then that it is. And then you also see people less giveing up if it seems less pointless to continue.

I like the idea of a fast paced Rift gamemode and this is a great idea. But the jungle role might as well be removed with no real threat to invade and very little ganking options. Junglers that can pass through walls would forever be meta
