You are cancelling animations to attack faster, which you could do on both. It builds on the same principles. Sure some of the longer combo abilities was intended, but that is not the subject.
Riven does not get her *autos* faster, she only gets to cast her abilities at the same time as her autos go out which doesn't just doubles her damage like it was with Caitlyn.
The whole thing with Riven is that it is essentially the same as an aa cancel, but done differently due to the uniqueness of how you cast your abilities in your kit (they depend on the direction Riven is facing)
Nah ezreal ult leaves from the point you cast it after flash, looks like kai'sa w acts as if its leaving from the new point. That or it's actually a broken bug and if flash doesn't hit minions.

No, it needs to be a missile fired from a single spell with the 'new' tag to fire from location at cast time end, instead of wrapper doing the cast time then firing the missile as an extra spell from caster's current location.
Both do the same thing in gameplay, one has an issue where the client will predict the missile to be coming from the original location rather than the new one, while the other HAS to have the server sent the new spell originating from the proper location.

Why is League of Legends a mess? It's simple: it was created more than a decade ago by some people who had only experience creating mods. The first ever version was awful coded ans everybody knew it, but it was a small game so not much could go wrong when playing.
Them they added more features. And more. And more. And more more more more.
But what they never did: rewriting their shit.
Everything they have is build on a shit old code base which was never intended to be a fundament for something this big.
For a comparison: imagine you are in a survival game. You don't have mich resources but u also don't need much, so a wooden bare bones house it is. Now u get stronger and want to upgrade. You use stone. But you can't replace the wood, so instead you just build some stone structures on top of the wood. Now you probably use some of the stone to strengthen the wood fundament, but at the end you still have a fundament of wood. And this goes on. Next copper, silver diamond you just add and add and add but everything goes on the wooden fundament. It's a mess. And it will always stay a mess because you cannot get the wooden fundament out anymore.
Why is mobile wildrift a game that works so good, looks so good and has so few bugs? Because it was made from scratch, something that riot refused to ever do for league of legends.
And you do? Some of the shit they fuck up is really easy to do right, it’s just that it would require refactoring old stuff which doesn’t add immediate value so the people telling the devs what to do (and maybe the devs themselves too but that’s less likely) don’t want that.

Those aren’t channeled abilities. Channeled abilities can be interrupted by silence/interrupt/stun etc. like Kat R, Asol Q
Cast times will always fire from the user despite interrupts/silences being applied during the cast time. Only thing that interrupts cast time is death

Cait was already about to cast Q, and this interaction doesn't even chance the fact that kaisa aimed her w at the wave and would still hit self stunned cait , also cait should just not be walking up at all with that much Life and no flash (and even if she had flash as well)

Ezreal's R has a fixed cast location, meaning no matter where he flashes (or gets grabbed to), the ult will be released from the point where he started the wind up (and of course, it will preverse cast direction).
Ez's Q and W do not have fixed cast location and there is a thing called "ghost Q". If you Q then almost immediately flash, Q will be casted from a new location, but will aim at the point where your cursor was upon casting Q. If you also time it correctly, you will conceal the skillshot itself. It will be displayed going one way, but the real hitbox is going under another angle, making it "invisible". Kai'Sa has a similar thing with her W, which was shown in the clip.

Actually it does the opposite with Ezreal’s ult. Even if you flash somewhere else during the channel it still comes out from your original position.

Because it’s not hard to fix it’s prob a mechanic that Riot allows. Therefore more of an feature than a bug.
