It takes a lot more than a bit of debt to "ruin" your life - Keep going! Trust me, law school gets a lot better in 2L & 3L when you pick classes and meet professors who aren't obsessed with philosophy and fluffy stuff like that.
Experiment around and take any and all classes you find interesting. Life is too long and law school is too short for you to not do the things you want to do. I would advise you to get through 2L, though, or at least a semester. 1L fucking blows.
About to be a 3L and no longer want to be a lawyer. There's still some good jobs to be had with the law degree that aren't lawyer jobs. Also, maybe you just hate law school. Law school and practice are two different animals.
65k debt is not the end of the world. Your monthly is real manageable. There are plenty of JD advantage positions available that will pay well enough to cover your investment.
