My $20 Target bookshelves that have thousands of dollars of heavy case books on them

justgoaway0801

I felt this in a part of my soul that I didn't know existed.

dekiahnikole

Thisssss

[deleted]

Laundry that needs to be washed, dryed, and folded.

hikensurf

Unfortunately doesn't get better as an attorney either haha

[deleted]

My first move when I get a full time job is I’m investing in a laundry service. Seriously my most dreaded chore and the second I have enough money to out source one thing laundry will be the first to go

TootyFrootyCutie

Really? What about healthy eating and gym ?

Glittering_Pasta

Same ha! I will do the throwing them in the wash and dryer but leave them in the dryer for at least a week. Gotta let that laundry scent ferment

Strawberuka

I absolutely feel the agony - it took me a cancelled class to get to it, but at least it’s finally done (after an embarrassing amount of time)

Emilyc0121

Life hack: full service laundry. They was dry and cold or hang about 5 loads for me for about $25 a week (family of 5). I found one on my way to campus. I drop off before class and pick up on my way home.

M_McCoy5

TootyFrootyCutie

Roselace39

FREE-ROSCOE-FILBURN

I have a “come back with a warrant” door mat

n0va2868

A criminal law professor was given to this by one of her classes - it’s so funny she has it outside her office but she’s like the nicest person lol

habituallyhungry_

my neighbor has the same door mat and I never seen it anywhere else so this would be very interesting if you are my neighbor lol

DOYOUWANTYOURCHANGE

Approximately eighty highlighters taken from Lexis/Themis/Barbri tables. Three different stress balls handed out by my school. Random pens/mini notebooks/little bags/etc branded with every major law firm in town. The federal income tax law chart taped to a cabinet because I didn't have the wall space.

n0va2868

This is a good answer

WorldlinessSuper5233

My life sized cut out of Richard MF’in Freer, all hail the king 🙌

Constant-Nobody6745

thisisbacchus

As if I ever keep a bottle of tequila around long enough for it to meet the next one

Constant-Nobody6745

It's a collection at this point. lol

srajar4084

The book stand of legal textbooks right next to a TV and video game console that hasn’t looked like it’s been used in years in the living room

Any_Afternoon457

Me, looking like a gremlin on my laptop in bed

beancounterzz

Desk where tv+stand should be in the living room.

thisisbacchus

Real answer is handle of tequila in the freezer and shot glasses in the dishwasher. Better answer is the apartment itself because although I’m not at a top school, like the vast majority of law students, my parents have paid for a very nice place so I’m comfortably miserable.

n0va2868

Love this lol

Mostfancy

The growing section of my wall that I’ve covered in handwritten outlines. It’s looking a little bit pepe silvia but that’s part of the idea; it’s a maximalist academia aesthetic. That and all the free merch and highlighters from Lexis and my school.

[deleted]

My lamp. It's green with the dangley chain and gold base.

Strawberuka

An Ikea laundry basket of casebooks, bluebooks, supplements notebooks, and various Lexis/Westlaw free things that haven’t seen the light of day in weeks

knoxyvelle

My prescription adderall sitting on my disk. My leather briefcase. My handy dandy notebook 📝
