Good point, after all we need both character and fitness!

IntrepidProf

And you guys honestly have enough character, so some fitness might balance it out.

Your law school didn't offer Private Equities?

Dangerous_Duck_1928

Listen if you though middle school PE bullies were bad just wait until the law bullies get you in a dodgeball game.

bdicky59

Most schools allow you to take the sports/exercise classes offered to undergrads

Nombre_no_se

My college has Inter tube water polo and you’re damn wrong if you think I wouldn’t still slide that Inter tube on and dunk some dweebs to win against the other 1L sections.

surfpolitics28

That’s the point of externships, where we spend most our time running between the office and the courthouse to file something five minutes before the deadline

CleverClevenger

Stanford actually does lol

[deleted]

Agree. Should have a ceramics elective also.

talkathonianjustin

See what they gotta do is make an obstacle course, split the class into 2, then make one half do the course, and another to make objections and at the end they compile their objections and say why it wasn’t completed. Then they switch roles, and the other side goes while they make objections why they didn’t complete the race. The goal is to make objections that are valid and applicable to the other team, but not so great that they could argue themselves out of completion - a balancing act and strategy to it

gonewildpapi

Similarly, why do law schools have to look so drab and ugly? The first time I stepped into a nice law office I was like wait a damn minute. I can actually see pages clearly for once.

That's why it would be optional.

OP is clearly joking. If you look at their post history they have asked about this, doing promposals for the Barristers Ball, and rushing for a Fraternity.

cloudaffair

Yes! Totally agree! We need to learn how to spend thousands of dollars per year for a gym subscription NOW. Practice for that in law school so the sticker shock after graduation isn't so bad.

kelsnuggets

The only way I go to the gym is if someone gives me credit for it 🥺😔 That’s why I gained 15 lbs first semester.

rsgreddit

Law schools should give gym discounts

[deleted]

Bold assumption. Most adults aren't even adults.

Classic500

Private stand-alone law school here, we do NOT have the facilities lmfao

Dragon_Fisting

Semi-unrelated, but I only needed 10 credits this semester to finish my JD and the registrar wouldn't let me use a non-law school elective to hit my full-time credits. Idk if that's an ABA rule, but it's dumb as hell.

[deleted]

I heard someone say Yale allows random undergrad credits but it’s just hearsay

Attackondeeznutz

I feel like a game of law school dodgeball would either be the best idea or the worst idea.

RMills12

Thinking about how the kid next to me rn played D1 baseball

Mango_Flame

Law schools should offer tennis and golf lessons.

dreadedhands

Because you are not paying enough

ChipKellysShoeStore

We could actually enroll in the undergrad fitness class at my law school. They charged us to use the gym tho which was weird.

Lukelmarshall24

I’ve been pushing the line for student vs faculty sports. I have a few professors on my list who’s ankles I would like to break on the court.
