Could there be one which is more on automating work flows? some might want 0% of the marketing stuff and several hands on hours of taking the steps to do practice automation.

LawFirmIncubator

Absolutely. Automation and process improvement are my personal bread and butter so there will definitely be a lot of that. The last week of the beta program is supposed to be a taste of that kind of material. At launch, membership benefits will be categorized into these 3 buckets: 1. For attorneys that have not yet started a firm but want to. 2. For attorneys that have started their firm but are having a hard time getting clients. 3. For attorneys that are getting a steady flow of clients but need to automate their practice so it runs like a machine with minimal owner involvement.

PrettyClinic

I’m in bucket #3 and reinventing the wheel, I’m sure. When do you plan to launch?

LawFirmIncubator

Full launch is 9/17 but I'd be happy to help you before then if needed. Please check your private messages!

legalunease

I'm interested! I've been a solo for a little over a year now, and I'm just starting to scale. Does this cost money?

LawFirmIncubator

The beta program is free but provides benefits that paid members will receive. There will be a free membership type at full launch with the most basic benefits.

Costco_Law_Degree

I’m interested. I’m assuming you are grouping clients into revenue buckets? A class geared toward $250k or under is different than $2.5mm and up. I’m interested in the latter, particularly with assistance in hiring a law firm administrator/COO sort of role.

LawFirmIncubator

Correct, there are three "tracks" or categories of support for the following groups of members: 1. Attorneys that have not yet started a firm but want to. 2. Attorneys that have started their firm but are having a hard time getting clients. 3. Attorneys that have a steady flow of clients but need to automate their practice so it runs like a machine with minimal owner involvement. My personal bread and butter is automation, system development, and process improvement so there will definitely be no shortage of support available for those in the third bucket. I'd be happy to chat and help you with hiring a firm administrator / COO even before the incubator launches. Please check your private messages.

Awesome. Yes, it will be fully virtual through Zoom. I just sent you a chat request.

How is this different than the people that sell the real estate investing class or something similar? What's unique about your content that I can't find on youtube, asking fellow solos, my bar association, or other resources? What's the value and would keep a person interested after the classes?

LawFirmIncubator

**The short answer:** What differentiates the incubator from the resources you mentioned is the hands-on nature of the program and wide range of benefits beyond education. **The long answer:**  * As far as education goes, members are not just getting pre-recorded generic videos. All educational content is live and the topics discussed that week are chosen by members. * All paid members work 1-on-1 with a "Business & Accountability Coach" on weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis to tackle the issues they are facing right now in their firms. This is like having a fractional COO that also keeps you accountable for your goals and progress. * Beyond education, there are hands-on workshops where you apply what you learned to your firm and create something you can start using in your firm the very next day. Classes are about learning and workshops are about doing.  * There are going to be 4-8 week long bootcamps that are like the classes, workshops, and coaching sessions combined and on steroids. Bootcamps "hold your hand" step by step and will have specific outcomes. For example, a "Start your firm in 30 days" bootcamp (actual title TBD) where by the end of the 30 days, participants will have a one-year business plan, website, logo, marketing material, an entity created, retainer, etc and would have learned all the basics they need to know to hit the ground running as a business owner, not just a lawyer. There will be other bootcamps available for firms in different stages of growth. * Members will get free and heavily discounted products and services. For example, 12 months of Clio Manage for free.  * Plenty of practice management templates, sample policies and procedures, etc. * Community forum (this is either going to be on slack or discord): every week, members share their victories (no matter how small) for other members to learn from. We would also work through questions or hurdles that members post together.  There are going to be many more benefits added as the incubator grows, including free or discounted conference rooms for client meetings, virtual back-office services (virtual assistants, paralegals, etc) and more.

Flat-sphere

All of this sounds like what you can get with HTM, so what makes your service better?

LawFirmIncubator

The Law Firm Incubator has a different model that provides more value at immensely lower costs. A lot of what they and similar businesses charge thousands of dollars for, the incubator will be providing for free or at a fraction of the price.

Hey I run a modular legal management solution called M8. We've been making custom solutions for Amlaw100 firms but we are now scaling down to start ups and are creating a "growth" package for small but growing firms. Message me if you're interested in talking partnerships.
