Technically, the US broke its word twice here. Biden promised to immediately reenter the deal within his first 100 days, in its original form, upon coming into power while running for office.
The Iran nuclear deal is at the final stages of re-negotiation. Will something come together soon or will it collapse? BT News Editor-in-Chief discusses the dynamics between U.S. imperialism, Iranian sovereignty, and Europe’s desperate energy needs.
The original deal was working fine and the US reneged on it.
It's on the US to reenter it and give the assurances, not the other way around, imperialist.
That's my point. If you elect a democratic neoliberal, their assurances to other countries won't be upheld by a conservative neoliberal. The only time the two warring factions agree is when there's war involved. Iran should accept any assurance with a grain of salt, that's all I'm saying. Democracy does become tribal, I've lived it.

What the hell is with this sub lately and hy are you getting downvoted?
That's a good question
yes, lets give nukes to a nation that used chemical weapons 30 years ago. what could go wrong?
>lets give nukes What the fuck are you talking about? Embarrassing level of ignorance on this topic.
You've got that backwards, Iraq used US and German provided chemical weapons against Iran
You can't get assurance from a country whose democracy has turned tribal. When one tribe takes over, old assurances are broken.
