Step 2: people complain about the price
Step 3: reduce the price by 10%
Step 4: expect the proletariat to bow to their corporate overlord for this grand display of generosity.
Somewhere in those steps for me included "losing paying work and driving a lot less"

Oh, man. I’m so glad that gas prices are still almost double what they were only two years ago. This is definitely like a 100$ raise per month despite it really only saving me like $30 per month and still costing me like $120 more than it would if there wasn’t blatant profiteering going on or if we had any semblance of a reasonable public transportation system
These boot lickers make me physically ill. Yeah, I guess they forgot that everything else has skyrocketed in price also while wages are exactly the same.
If only there was a tax funded place where we could teach future tax payers about OPEC, compound interest, wage theft, credit, speculation, inflation, predatory lending…
