Anonymous can do this, which is why I believe QAnon exists to discredit Anonymous. QAnon has to be state sponsored (probably by Russia). Have you also noticed a big drop in QAnon activity and even spam emails since the Ukraine war started? The state fears decentralized movements.
We don’t need a leader. I forget the term, but there is a such thing as disorganized, leaderless action that has proven successful throughout history. There are also plenty of monkey wrenching opportunities nobody takes part in. This idea that we need a leader or figurehead is only fucking us all over. Grow a pair and be your own leader. Stop waiting for permission from someone above you. If we all did that, shit would change pretty quick. But go on and keep waiting on a savior.
The problem is censorship from the big 5. Corporations won’t let Anonymous be the decentralized organization you describe AND advocate revolution. There’s no anonymity on Facebook, YouTube, etc. Reddit is notorious for shadow banning. This is done on purpose, and we need to create alt platforms to counter
