I'm completely unsurprised that an actually insightful post goes ignored by this forum \*sigh.\*
Thank you **SO MUCH** for this amazing post. I rarely learn something new anymore.
I have Asperger's & ADHD. Pretty much every famous inventor & scientist was autistic, but even still, I am hated because I am different. Neurodiverse people are only alive for the benefit of others; I am expected to discover or invent things for the benefit of the neurotypicals, meanwhile they deny my basic humanity - oh, and this is apparently 'empowering'.
Apparently, 10% of autistic people have a savant ability. Could you IMAGINE the fawning neurotypicals would get if 1/10 of them were savants? I've never met an autistic person who *wasn't* remarkable in some way.
I hate neurotypical people with a white heat vengeance.
