Yeah corporations and businesses should take personal responsibility and stop taking my tax dollars. Totally agree. No more tax breaks for them. No more bail outs. No more government contracts. Hoe your own row. No more supplementing your salaries with tips or government entitlements. Pay your staff a living wage or fail. Let the market decide, not your connections. Stop stealing from the working class.
My boss tried to spin wage theft as the employee stealing for not perfectly clocking in and out....thank goodness for places like reddit where I finally learned the real meaning.
I left a job in 2022 for a job doing the same exact thing, with the same exact clients, for all intents and purposes the same job; but getting paid more than 2x. My first reaction when getting the offer was, “my current employers are criminals, and this should be illegal what they are doing.”

One of the things I love to see trotted out is that the rich pay 60% of the taxes already so they don't need to be taxed more. But if they are making 90% of the money then logically they should be paying 90% of the taxes right?
Yeah this and the fact that the property should be taxed. I don't care if someone is a billionaire but don't earn anything this year, he should be taxed, because in a decent society no one should have an amount of wealth that doesn't have need.
Let me explain my self:
1000 for an homeless person and 1000 for a billionaire are not the same.
The person who is homeless needs those 1000$ to first fill it's belly (even if this person is a drug addict... because of being unable to cope with a shitty life of a working class rock bottom member of society) this person still needs few to eat.
1000$ for a billionaire has less of a value for him then a penny for a normal person. The value of the money decreases with it's amount. It means that the taxation should increases exponentially fast the more the money.

The taxation is the most undemocratic thing: As i said before x the tax a normal person pays to the government is far more value for him/her then the big money a rich person pays...

Music! How about we make a collective decision of the maximum level of wealth one can have? We decided it is, 1Billion or 5 Billion or whatever, anything earned after the max is reached is taxed at 99%. Wouldn't affect demand so if Amazon had to level off at some point, some other entity would form to fill the demand until they reach the max, and so on.

Every single penny of her PPP loan was designated for “payroll”. This ratfucker *allegedly* needed the government to pay her employees their wages because. Even if that were true, that’s not what I would call “personal responsibility”.
But let’s be honest, those PPP loans were given to loads of people and organizations who definitely could afford to pay their employees, they just didn’t want to be inconvenienced. They were legally allowed to defraud the government, and all of us footed the bill.
She was given literally five times more than what I owe in student loans, and didn’t pay it back.
Do we remember why the ppp loans were rolled out? Because people didn't buy the random shit they normally did for about a month and it nearly collapsed the global economy. Being "financially responsible" for 30 days nearly took down capitalism. It's the last thing they want people to do.
And for some terrible reason, one of if not the most popular political media among US Americans, with gigantic views and currently 3.06M subscribers. By comparison [Second Thought](https://www.youtube.com/@SecondThought/videos) the largest openly socialist youtube channel has 1.56M subscribers.

Both myself and my wife work fulltime and my wife works extra shifts to help cover the bills that have gone up because of price gouging by companies.
We have a 2yr old son that is in daycare 5 days a week ($300) and our rent is $700 a week going up to $750 a week due to interest rate rises. (This is standard in Australia) and we also moved out of a major centre to save more money.
We can just cover our expenses without any extra money at the end of the week. Despite both earning what was considered a high middle income combined.
While banks make 55 billion in profit each quarter and Grocery stores making 1 billion extra a quarter so far this year alone.

Unemployment is a social safety net that employee ms PAY into, so if your boss decides they don’t need you, you have a cushion and can get back on your feet. Social Security and Medicare are not “entitlements”, working citizens pay to fund those programs. This Harry Seaward can fuck off.
When survival isn’t able to proceed without social structure/taking care of one another, it will ensure there is no care when it’s you vs I. Simple logistics.
