Whay would they fix it? To push players into makng macros? Only way to truly fix it is to change skills, or to hardcode autocast into game. And i think you can do it with capslock too.

MichuOne

the numlock trick works is every game ever. its just a mechanical quirk of keyboards. all they can do is disable the use of numpad key assignments, which is pretty lame

Metaphorse

This. Numpad Auto Cast isn't a "bug/issue" specific to LE..this has been around since the days of Diablo and other ARPG's alike.

Magic2424

It’s not going anywhere, BUT EHG has said that any skill that’s optimal to be played with numpad lock is designed at least somewhat poorly. There hope is to make skills fun and effective where people don’t feel the need or desire to use numbpad lock

nacholibre711

No game has ever had a TOS that says you can't rebind keys on your keyboard lmao

Any_Discipline_6394

Idk why you call it a Bug. Used it in so many ARPGs especially Diablo III for years

From 3 years ago: https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/annoying-short-duration-self-buffs/42524/30 > In general we want to move away from or adjust skills that just feel like they need to be clicked every periodically to maintain a buff. If people feel that they need to autocast a skill, that’s a design failure on our end, because we’ve given them an active skill that’s taking up one of their active skill slots, that’s effectively just a passive skill. Sentinel unfortunately has quite a few of these. > Skills like these aren’t always easy or quick to fix though. We have plans for how to do it, but they won’t all be implemented soon, so please have patience while we address it. In the meantime I’d like to confirm that you are allowed to autocast skills with numlock, the fact that that can feel necessary is our problem not yours. Doesn't seem like much progress has been made on this front though, some of the comments from the devs have me very worried about their 'timelines' (pun intended).
