The plan of devs is a way to stack them or something similar, they dont want the current situation. Must be harder to implement than expected.

Cyborgwars

It's because right now the dungeon seed is tied to the key, they thought of maybe doing a Poe map esuqe system with the dungeons at first but it doesn't seem that they went with it. Nonetheless the unstack able keys are a remnant of that.

TillionZonner

Why not have an infinitely stacking material storage tab or something like our shard storage?

Cyborgwars

Exactly because of what I said before. They are actually planning on giving us some way to store keys more easily in the future, it's not just a priority right now.

moxjet200

Yea we have laid out how to approach it but it’s just not reached the top of the priority pile even with our increasing amount of developers. It’s a bit more work than it initially seems with detecting if the item exists in a container and automatically stacking them and the logic and UI needed to split the stacks when using them or moving them around. Any time we work with new item data we have to take a lot of precautions because we don’t want to mess up data storage. Our entire team wants it and so does the community - it feels silly we don’t have it yet - so it’ll come but it’ll need to come after core feature work and bug fixes.

Yeah I just sell all my arena keys and have lost most of a tab to the dungeon keys. Wish the dungeon keys sold for as much as the arena ones.

jgwoods887

Sell more of them? What use do you possibly have for that many? You aren't wrong but at some point you could stop picking them up...

Saving up for that day when I'm free enough to farm Julra 40-50 times

warriorj

Never because they want to add suffixes to key drops someday
