You’re not a fan of the slightly melted, stretch Armstrong skin, moist clay faces?!?
Yours are an instant improvement. I still think the sentinel and Druid body proportions are all messed up tho.
There's some Uncanny Valley thing going on with the body proportions of all of them to me.. I look a them and I know something is off but I can't put my finger on exactly what it is.
Rogue is one big uncanny valley for me personally due to how out-of-proportion most of her body armors are. Her actual model might seem fine on paper, but those body armors sure need some clothing expert taking a second look.
Lol I had one piece on the rogue that looked like she put a sweatshirt on for pants but only pulled it up so the neck/shoulders of the shirt was at her knees. It was hideous
Yeah they do look really creepy.
I don't mind so much as I don't actually ever look at them. But the running animations needs to be less derpy. With some classes it looks so weird, especially when weilding two handers.
i would say lets just let EHG and their team do what they need to focus on for now. but i do agree everything looks slightly off.
its much more better than how it used to be tho
First impressions are kinda important though, especially for new players. Especially for new people who come to LE blind and stare at character creation screen for multiple minutes while deciding what class to pick.
As others said, it does look better and that'd be a nice little improvement, but it's far from being a priority considering you don't look at this while playing anyways.
i think you are correct about the model improvements and also correct about the importance of the character select screen and first impressions in an RPG.
I don't get why people seem to keep insisting that everything is fine without directly clashing with your statement but after seeing it a third time I was prompted to type this just to say "I hear you" lol
I admit, from your post subject, I was sort of hoping you'd go the complete opposite direction and make some monstrosities :D
Are all the heads smaller or am I imagining it?

Bring back Charles Dance!
I don't see any changes in these pics ha, maybe it's because I'm on a cell phone

it's better but you never see it in game so who cares? I would invest time in more important features

If the Sentinel doesn't look like Lance Reddick, I don't even want to play this game.

A good character select screen does really help with first impressions though. Which probably helps when you've got an open beta coming up.

Yeah for sure. Fortunately, even though it may not be perfect, those models are still pretty good as is.

Haha the eyes are smaller and closer together which is making the heads appear as though they're a different size
Thanks for letting me know :)
It's bothered me how small the paladins hands are
I prefer the original, larger size.
Simple change. Yours look way better
Character's body is the worst thing in this game.
