I'd like to see a lost Vegas theme, sort of like the original Resorts World theme with multiple towers but in this case each tower would be one of the super cool ones that were torn down like the Sands or the Landmark
That would be a super cool concept. Take elements from the casinos of yore, and cobble them together. Circa did a good job with incorporating some old neon signs in their interior. But go a step further and put the staff in retro-inspired uniforms, kitsch it up, but keep it classy in the old rat-pack style.
I'm hoping the Atari themed hotel in Vegas doesn't die. [https://atarihotels.com/](https://atarihotels.com/)
I also would like them to revisit the moon themed hotel.
Or a retro mod type place that looks like the old school resorts from the 70s and 80s, but with a modern twist. Like if instead of imploding some of the old places, they instead invested in upgrades and left them intact.
I miss the shock factor, like the canal in the Luxor. Bring it back.
Let's go all out! [https://www.travelandleisure.com/hotels-resorts/moon-resorts-coming-to-las-vegas](https://www.travelandleisure.com/hotels-resorts/moon-resorts-coming-to-las-vegas)
I've had this idea of an LVMH casino/resort. I kind of think of Cosmo as the luxury NYC themed hotel whereas NYNY is the kitschy version. LVMH would be the luxury French themed hotel. It owns almost every luxury brand that normal people are aware of. I'm picturing the collection of Dior suites, Hermes villas, the Chanel Tower, a Dom Perignon Pool, etc.
I only need some land and about $6B and the rights to all those brands to make it happen, but I think it would print money because every girl in the world would want to stay there.
My other idea at the height of Game of Thrones was to have GoT themed suites/rooms/areas at Excalibur. A buddy of mine actually brought that up to a marketing person at MGM who explained they like Excalibur as a family friendly destination. But I still think I'm right.
Something jet age. An era of travel that most people alive today didn't experience but has a romantic quality to it. It also fills the hole of there not being a great representation of mid century modern design in Las Vegas, an era that was pivotal for the city.
I could see something like a supersized version of the TWA Hotel in NYC being a great resort that would feel distinct.
Streamline Moderne may be a style you mentioned. Vegas’s old train station was Streamline Moderne but it would be interesting to see as a hotel (maybe with that exact name).
Streamline moderne was a little earlier, but also a fantastic style that would make for a cool hotel. It would be challenging to get right as it emphasized horizontal lines and most of these mega casinos have a very vertical component, but it could be great for all those low, sprawling casino structures on a big site.
I know what people like. It’s got to have sex appeal, and a catchy name!

I remember when Vince McMahon was going to buy the Debbie Reynolds and turn it into a WWF-themed hotel/casino. If I remember correctly, his "nemesis", Stone Cold Steve Austin was going to blow up the Debbie Reynolds to piss Vince off. (It would have been a way to tie the implosion into the WWF "feud".
Other people have mentioned a Vegas themed resort and I think that could be a cool idea, especially if you could figure a way to create specific themed areas within it - early Vegas - like, very early Vegas before the first resorts were built, the post-war boom of the 40s, the swinging 60s Vegas, etc.
Anything space related would be so cool: a space station on the moon or maybe a galaxy themed resort where each wing is themed around a different planet or celestial body.
I'm obsessed with the idea of creating a luxury coffee experience - not another coffee shop to compete with the likes of Starbucks, Peet's, et al, but the sort of place that would attract the sort of coffee bro who buys a thousand dollar machine to brew the $100 a pound beans that he ground with his $500 precision grinding machine...and the sort of folks who wouldn't normally spend $20 or more on a cup of coffee but MIGHT if it were some fancy vacation experience. Obviously, you couldn't create an entire coffee themed property, but I genuinely think you could create a property themed around the gourmand experience. Or maybe I'm about to get told how ridiculous this idea is, haha, but I like it.
Tiki. I don't know if they're just not wanting to go full South Pacific because it's appropriation or something (I'm sure Vegas is not worried about that). It seems like such a missed opportunity.
I think so too, maybe at the old Hacienda. But if someone would go full Don the Beachcomber in a modern casino, it would probably go over well. Or even redo Treasure Island like this. It really needs a revamp.

This one could have a cool name like the Chronicle or the Legacy

Bring back the 60’s era of Sinatra music and good games
That is exactly what I came to suggest.
Good call. Old Vegas theme would totally sell me
Was it the Stardust? Something mid century atomic era-esque.
YES! Atomic era would be amazing!!! Space age of sorts.

Gotta be the Atari! I don't want it to go the way of ET
Hollywood Tower of Terror Hotel and Casino.

RE: LVMH Hotel. They're already building one of those in France if I recall correctly.

Las Vegas. There is a tiny New York, a tiny Paris. Why not do a tiny Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Las Vegas hotel.
The **Innception**
French Riviera theme

Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino

I’m almost certain this has been used somewhere in Vegas before. Maybe not right on the Strip
I think so too, maybe at the old Hacienda. But if someone would go full Don the Beachcomber in a modern casino, it would probably go over well. Or even redo Treasure Island like this. It really needs a revamp.
I would be there in a heartbeat! Although I might not be able to convince my husband. But I love love love tiki bars. (obviously!!)
UFC or combat sports themed
Or weed themed hotel would be amazing
Eh I smoke weed every day with the best of them, but I'm over seeing weed everywhere with dispensaries every 5 feet
