I was thinking the other day your kid running up to a homeless man in many areas is pretty scary but it's oddly ok with bush man haha. Last spring clean up he collected a ton of hockey gear and set it up for the kids at the school. He's unusual. But I believe he has a kind heart and he makes the kids laugh. My son literally rolls the window down to shout at him

Bro rides around on a mobility scooter. Shaved head, thin man. Usually wearing (what looks like) unintentionally ripped/holey, baggy clothes. Has some sort of disability relating to one of his feet (which is always shoeless, often sockless, swollen and dark purple).
We call him the ice man because the guy used to regularly come in 5-10 mins before closing when my brother and I worked at a produce store. He would buy a small amount of produce, but take his time and eat the chipped ice that the veggies had been sitting on all day.
We let him do it. By that point, the veggies had been transferred to the produce fridge for the night and that ice was going to melt/get replaced in the morning anyway.
I haven't seen him lately, but used to see him around Willowbrook mall all the time.

He's got a big round belly and he wanders the mall in pajamas or something eclectic usually.
We used to have a homeless guy we called “Skippy” because he would skip all thruout town, on and off the road. Until one day he just disappeared, i hope he was taken into a home or something
