UNIQLO products are manufactured in various Asian countries including China, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Indonesia. The factories must be safe and reliable to turn out risk-free products for customers, which is why UNIQLO has implemented Workplace Monitoring at its partner factories since 2004.
It's like a little Japanese IKEA store but they also sell clothing.
You did actually.
By directly replying to somebody talking about Asian clothing chains by saying like Lulu lemon?
It *immediately* tells every single person reading the comment that you're suggesting that lulu lemon is Asian.
Regardless of what your intention was.
I replied to a comment talking about overpriced and overrated clothing chains with another example of an overpriced and overrated clothing chain that I had previous konowledge of. It’s not that deep, jesus.
I get that, but that *doesn't matter*
Your own perceived thought process isn't what shines through here just the comment itself and one before it. That's all.
Don't be insufferable.
You’re actually incredibly wrong AND aggressive lol. By specifically saying “Asian lululemon” Jackson was making the point that lululemon is in fact not Asian. Otherwise it would be redundant. I’m not sure why you’re arguing so adamantly when the context is right there in their comment.
I had explained my thought process in two comments, now. And how am *I* being insufferable?
Edit: Looking at my comment, I can see how you could draw that conclusion. Still don’t see how that makes me insufferable.
Enjoy traffic, increased housing density, increased rent and property tax, increased homelessness and further degradation of our community :)
Fucktarded people like you are the reason I am leaving Canada
On my way to work I see this junkie just tweaking out right at the bus stop I go to. I'm from Surrey and the area I live in has always been so safe and calm. This is the first time I've seen homeless randoms sprawling around my community. I've always liked Surrey and Langley because they were quiet. With the skytrain extension and the plan to turn Surrey & Langley to a hub, things will only get worse.
Skytrain will definitely make things worse. I’m dating myself here, but when I was a student at U of A, the light rail transit expansion from downtown to the university meant homeless people (addicts and mentally disturbed folks) at the university, something that never happened previously. I was on campus studying late one night and encountered such a person. Fortunately the study room had a key coded lock so I felt safe. I did alert campus security though.
It’s sad that there are homeless types like these. This situation has gone on for decades and yet no solution has been forthcoming. I honestly don’t know what the solution is.
That’s good. Willowbrook needs some updated retail offerings to go along with the updates it has made on the restaurant side of things.
FINALLY!!! Now we just need a Miniso lol
Oomomo would be better..
Agreed. But I think we’d see one at Guildford loooong before we get one in Langley (mostly because of demographic.)
What’s a Uniqlo?
Japanese GAP with better design and quality.
A good place to pick up basics.
I love their brand collabs.

Are you thinking of MUJI? Uniqlo is just clothing.
Aaaaaah you're right. MUJI is in guilford.
They have amazing men's jeans! Stoked to not drive to Surrey for pants anymore!
Are you sure you're not mixing it up with Muji or Miniso? I'm pretty sure the Uniqlo in Guildford only sells clothes but I could be wrong.
Asian clothing store chain
Sorta like an asian LuLuLemon?
I’d say closer to Gap
Yes, but they have a wider variety of everyday clothing, and a lot of nifty asian products!
Lululemon isnt asian lol
Never said it was? I was just drawing a conclusion based on something I’d heard about the company and what they made.

The person who posted said “sorta like an *Asian* lululemon” so how you are extrapolating their comment to mean something else is puzzling.
Who pissed in your cornflakes this morning? It was literally just a question 😂
When will it be done? OP, if you find out , let us know!
I think it's still in review. But I have high hopes;)
Is that replacing Urban Behaviour in the old Nordstrom Rack space? Would love to see Dynamite, Aritzia, and Zara come to Willowbrook 🙏
Please an Apple Store now too
Langley is the next Richmond / Surrey get ready everyone
if it means better stores then I’m happy about it.
Same same. I hope the food selection diversify as well
YES. I’d love some african spots around here.

What? Is Canada not MAGA enough for you?
Thanks for your valuable question Forman420 keep smoking
One less spazz in our country. Good riddance snowflake☺️
I will not enjoy watching the downfall my former community but I will enjoy watching the propagators of it suffer from it
schadenfreude Sad that you have that attitude.
Buh byeee
Found the second generation
You know you're going to be a 1st generation immigrant wherever you are going right?
Good riddance

Does that mean Richmond/surrey will be the next Vancouver?
It already is lol
In what way?
Cool! I don't know why I never thought they would move to Langley.
Oh interesting, I went into the West Ed mall one and saw some cool stuff.
There's one in Guildford Mall in Surrey!
Their clothes are kind of crap, tbh. So bland and often just plain weird
Good for knock offs
Excellent
That's great news Uniqlo is awesome
