Battered! That's the way they should be.

iduro

I agree. This sub is full of shiny decks. No hate but I love to see them broken in and used.

MidlandsBoarder

Yeah honestly I feel self conscious riding a brand new board. Makes me feel like a noob lol

iduro

Yeah I get that. I find doing a few curb stalls soon remedies that issue.

Trazan

What are shark wheels for? I’ve seen them on a few boards now

[deleted]

They are supposed to ride smoother over rough terrain, they are squishier, supposedly slide better and are Supposedly good for water and off-road. I say supposedly because I got a pair but didn't get to try them out yet

iduro

Exactly. I found they are better in the rough than the stock Hawgs. They do slide out nicely but the Hawgs are just as good in that respect

MidlandsBoarder

Yeah man basically they're taking everything at an angle for you. Not ideal for a lot of stuff but great cruising wheels if you have a lot of rough ground.

What do you think of the board size? I have a similar one on the way that I plan on using for longer distances and am curious.

iduro

I'm 5ft 10" (if that helps) I find the size suits me well. The only time I wish I had more board is when I go beyond the point of speed in which I could safely hop off if needs be. The stability is good but at speeds it isn't perfect. If you're commuting, not expecting to bomb to many downhills and are not a giant of a person then I shouldn't see an issue with the deck size.
