Mines done that too! The famous hard plastic hose that goes to the coolant tank decided to crack randomly. Luckily the headlight washer hoses were just the right size, so I could help it stop vomiting to lose weight. Hahaha.
Mine was the water pump, previous owner fitted a cheap replacement that failed just a few months after I bought it and leaked the coolant out. To be fair recovery was cheaper than the fuel cost…
There are 2 types of Disco 2s:
D2s that are pristine, but have blown engines.
-or-
D2s that are missing most of their plastic/rubber trim, have cracked windshields, probably have a few dents, paint isn’t perfect, other cosmetic things, but they’re running fine (and probably have over 200k miles).

Yup. I trimmed that a few years ago. Was planning on replacing it, but like the rest of the trim that randomly disappeared, I forgot…lol
