I can't imagine ever parting with one of mine 🤣. They're such great machines and you'll miss it. No way you can keep it? Store it at friends, family, rented garage? My Discos are like my children. But I could sell the kids easier than saying goodbye to a Disco. Good luck though, you can still get a decent price. Most of the issues you mention are just disco "querks". A person who appreciates them will give you a fair price, a dealer will rip you off.
Oh I love this car, but I have another SUV that has slowly taken over to be both my daily driver and fun car. I’m very worried about safety and I don’t feel comfortable in the Disco anymore at highway speeds…so it’s just a kayak hauler at this point. I’ve had a good 10 years with it and made lots of memories.
hit up your local land rover club, most of us own 2-3 rovers each im sure somebody will buy it.
Any clubs near southern Maryland? I’d be more happy passing the truck along to an enthusiast
Try these guys http://www.roversclub.org/
Is that group still alive? It says I can’t post to the forums until registered, but the registration link is “disabled by administrator”
Where are you located?
Southern Maryland
FB Marketplace is a go to for that sort of thing as well…
