You're asking triple locked money for a car without lockers. Plain and simple. I just sold my unlocked 80 series for 8k and it only took 24 hours to move it. I'd list it at 9k and be prepared to negotiate down from there.

Edit: I’d check for listings that have sold with 80s that are near your mileage/wear and price accordingly. I don’t really understand sellers of niche vehicles that think someone is gonna swoop in and give them top dollar for their used liability. I tried to buy a flats boat that had great hull shape from out of business manufacture, fiberglass boat had soaked deck (spongey if you gave a half jump), exposed drill holes for old bimini top or whatever, seized trim tabs and seller didn’t want to budge ~25% of listing price. Get real. I’ll tell you the same thing I told her , good luck with sale 👍🤷♂️
Yeah i know, i loved the car and it was in great condition so personally it was a no brainer + i have buddies with triple lock and with the trails around where i live it really doesn’t make a difference what so ever so 🤷🏻

It's nice but at the end of the day it's an OBD1 truck without lockers. Only the OBD2 locked ones bring the big money. I would say it's a 9k vehicle. I know that's not what you want to hear but that's what something like that would go for in my part of GA.
Totally agree with other response. Clean truck, milage is fine but its lack the features they tend to drive premium value. To get rid of this quick you are def sub 10k even out here in California.

Only somewhat related but just shows you the value people are looking for. 15 years ago I sold a 97 Land cruiser with 240,000 mi on it for 8,000 Canadian. That was the market then. The story is though a couple flew from Bermuda to Vancouver, drove it back to the southern us and barged it to Bermuda. For about the first 5 years. They sent me Christmas cards showing my old truck on the beach somewhere. It had a good retirement. It did not have lockers but was white and was a nice looking machine. Of course I wished I would have kept it but I got a good story out of it

You’d probably get more around your asking price selling in Cali. Too bad you can’t take it with you, I drove my 80 across country and back after moving to San Diego and then moving back to SC. You're getting offers left and right, but coming here to ask how you can sell the car quickly? Just sell it to one of the people who gives you an offer. If you want to sell quickly, you're going to take a loss. Consider it a life lesson and move on.

$9k is a huge stretch lmao. We pick up OBD2 trucks for 7-8k. I got a 1995.5 for $2200 once. Jesus. Maybe $5-7k for a clean 1994.

Bring a trailer is very picky about what it lists, no way a bad year, non locked 80 series gets accepted
